The park is rated big rig friendly, and at 80 feet the pull-thrus take the longest coaches. Laundry, firewood, propane fills, a dump station, a pavilion, and a pet washing station cover the practical side. Pets are welcome, with a dog park. An outdoor pool fills the grounds, with an amusement park nearby. Rigby sits in the upper Snake River Plain east of Idaho Falls. The park is family-owned and open year-round, and it functions as the most practical and reasonably priced overnight base for travelers heading to or from Yellowstone. At 100 feet of maximum length, this is one of the few parks in the region that can take the largest coaches without negotiation. Laundry, a bathhouse with showers, and a general store handle the essentials, and horse pens are available for guests traveling with stock. Pets are welcome, with a dog park. A hot tub and sauna, bike rentals, creek frontage, and picnicking fill out the on-site recreation, and the river-front sites are the ones worth asking for. Dubois sits at the eastern approach to Togwotee Pass on US 26/287, between the Absaroka Range and the painted badlands, on the road toward Grand Teton National Park.
