17 years ago, our family purchased Tinney Lake and began creating Lake Falling Star RV Resort. Our 44-acre park is quiet, clean, and extraordinarily beautiful. The sunsets are breathtaking, and the night stars will melt the stress away. We have added new granite walkways along the waterfront. The new pergola cover keeps the pool shaded during the day’s heat. A quaint laundry room where you can enjoy a book overlooking the lake while your clothes are drying. For the bird watchers in the family, this is the place.

Located just eight miles north of the North entrance to Yellowstone Park, at the south end of beautiful Paradise Valley. Yellowstone Hot Springs is a soaking experience like no other. Settled between two mountain ranges, and nestled on the bank of the Yellowstone River, peace and serenity are the keynotes of this location. Mineral-rich pool waters with continual flow-through circulation create a soaking experience that melts away the stress and cares of the day. Sun Outdoors Canyonlands Gateway

The campground itself is really nice—clean, well-maintained, and stocked with great amenities. The pool was a nice bonus, and having laundry on-site was super convenient. The shower houses were also clean and well-kept, but they tended to stay pretty full, so I think a few more would be helpful. Each restroom has a shower inside, so sometimes you’re just waiting to use the bathroom while someone’s taking a shower—separate facilities might make things flow more smoothly.

The tent sites are on the smaller side, so just keep that in mind if you have a bigger setup. The biggest downside is the location right next to Highway 70. The road noise is pretty constant through the night, and there’s a bright white Chevron sign that keeps the area well-lit—but not ideal for tent sleeping.

Overall, though, it’s a nice, clean campground with friendly staff and good amenities—just not the quietest spot if you’re tent camping.
