Red River itself is a small alpine town built around skiing and outdoor recreation, and the ranch sits a mile from the center, close enough to walk in for dinner via the daily shuttle. Wheeler Peak, Taos, and the Enchanted Circle scenic loop are all close.
Summer and fall color drive the heaviest demand, with ski season filling the town from December through March. Reserve well ahead for July through early October and for holiday ski weeks.
