Our award-winning resort is open year round and offers spacious, full service seasonal and overnight voyageur camping sites. Located a short 10 minutes from Sidney, 20 minutes north of Victoria, and 15 minutes from the Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal, you can easily enjoy the many activities this unique area has to offer!

Rules

Check-In Procedure - Check In 2:00 PM - Check Out 12:00 PM - Please be mindful of the time as we have other guests checking into the sites - Early Arrivals: Please call ahead. - We cannot guarantee your site will be available before check-in, but if the site is available an earlier check-in may be possible. - After Hours: Guests arriving outside office hours can self-register. - Personalized envelopes with the resort map filed under the booking name are located in the cabinet outside the office door. - Please sign the registration and leave in the dropbox upon arrival. - To Extend a Stay: By reservation only and subject to availability. - Please visit, call or e-mail the office if you want to extend your stay. - Please give us as much notice as possible to ensure availability. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Booking - Reservations are taken year-round, up to 1 year in advance. - If the site you want is available this can be done for a non-refundable Site Lock flat fee of $35/reservation. - For all other reservations, site numbers are not guaranteed, and guests are assigned their site number at check-in. - Extenuating circumstance (breakdowns, natural events, other guest matters) may sometimes require us to adjust the site allocated, in this instance any Site Lock Fees would be reimbursed. Deposit Structure - A deposit required at time of booking via credit card. - 1-3 night = 100% of total rate - 4-7 nights = 50% of total rate - 8+ nights = 25% of total rate - If your booking is made within the cancellation period your deposit is non-refundable. Minimum Stays - No minimum stay requirements for Overnight Voyageur bookings. Site Fee Payment - Remaining site fees must be paid in full upon arrival. - Extensions may be paid as you go. - All rates are based on two-person occupancy, maximum of 5 adults per site (18+) and 8 total guests (including children). - Additional adults are $5 each per night. - Visa, Master Card, Debit or Cash are all accepted payment method. - All rates in Canadian Dollars. Voyageur Pet Policy - Up to two well behaved animals per site are welcome in the Resort. - All pets must be on a leash at all times when outside the unit and all pet waste (including in your site) must be picked up immediately. - Pets are not to be left unattended at your site. - Excessive noise, allowing pets to roam off leash or not picking up after your pets could result in you being asked to leave the Resort. - Pets are not allowed in any buildings, in the playground area, or other camper’s sites. - It is the guest's responsibility to care properly for any pet and to clean and restore any areas where mess or damage has occurred. - The Resort Manager reserves the right to refuse entry to large or aggressive dogs. Door Codes - All of our facilities (washrooms, showers, laundry rooms and cookhouse) are secured with a coded door lock. - This code is provided at check-in on your map as it periodically changes. Sparkle Cards (Laundry and Showers) - Laundromats and some showers are card operated and managed by Sparkle. - Sparkle Cards can be purchased (initial $5 deposit) and loaded in the laundromat next to the office (accessible 24/7). - If you experience any issues with the machines or your card, please contact Sparkle directly at 1-866-769-0680. - Showers cost $1 for 5 minutes. - All of our facilities have a stall operated by both a Sparkle card or Loonie ($1 coin). Accessibility - We have accessible washrooms located in each building, and accessible show stalls are located in the Cookhouse. - The men’s shower uses a Loonie and the ladies a Sparkle card. Parking - Maximum two vehicles per sites as long as they both fit on your site. - Parking on the roads is not permitted. - Parking spots located beside communal buildings are designated for those using the facilities and may not be used as additional guest or visitors parking during the day or overnight. Speed Limit - 10 km/h within the Resort. - 30 km/h through Tsawout First Nation Land. Pet Policy - Up to two well behaved animals per site are welcome in the Resort. - All pets must be always on leash and all pet waste (including in your site) must be picked up immediately. - Excessive noise, allowing pets to roam o leash or not picking up after your pets could result in you being asked to leave the Resort. - Pets are not allowed in any buildings, in the playground area, or other camper’s sites. - Pets are not to be left unattended at your site Campfires and BBQ’s - Open wood burning fires, charcoal BBQ’s and fireworks are not permitted due to municipal regulations. - Propane firepits & BBQ’s are welcome (when fire restrictions allow) and propane firepits are available for rent from the Resort. - There is a communal propane fire pit located next to the cookhouse. Quiet Time - Out of respect to all campers, Quiet Hours are in effect every night from 11pm to 8am. - Idling vehicles and the use of generators are not permitted at any time. Children and Teenagers under 18 - Resort Occupant(s)s are always responsible for the supervision, conduct and behavior of children and teenagers at their Site or in the Resort. - All children and teenagers are to be on an adult supervised Site by dusk or 11:00 p.m., whichever is earliest. - Children and teenagers may not be left in the Resort without adult supervision. - Young children using the recreational facilities or equipment must always be accompanied and supervised by an adult. - The playground areas and equipment are strictly o limits after dusk each day. Bicycles - Bicycles are permitted on the roadways within the Resort during daylight hours and cyclists are always to exercise care and control, including observing posted speed limits. - Helmets must be worn at all times, and children under 18 must be supervised. - Remember that the roadways throughout the Resort are shared with vehicles, pedestrians, small children, and pets and to exercise caution at all times. Alcohol - Alcoholic beverages may be consumed on the Site only. - Parents are reminded that only people aged 19 and older may consume alcohol in the Resort, and that they are responsible for their children’s activities. - Alcohol cannot be transported in open containers and for safety, glass containers of any kind are not permitted o a Site. - Excessive drinking, noise, or profanities will not be tolerated. No Smoking - The use of tobacco and marijuana (including e-cigarettes and vapes) may be consumed on your site only and is not permitted in public areas of the Resort (such as on the beach, any common areas or in any resort buildings). - When using tobacco and marijuana on your site we ask that you be respectful of your neighbors and exposure to second hand smoke. - Please remember that your neighbors are entitled to quiet enjoyment of their site. - Please remember to dispose of lit cigarette butts in a safe and hygienic manner, to minimize the danger of fires or of accidental ingestion by small children or pets. Site Post Electricity - Breaker switches are located directly underneath the cap at the top of each site post. - There are separate breakers for each power level, 50 amps posts have breakers on both sides. - Please make sure you are using the appropriate power service for the needs of your RV and a CSA approved adaptor is required. WiFi - WiFi is provided for light usage (i.e. checking emails and social media). - Attempts to stream videos or music may cause your connection to slow or drop. - Please use the Oceanside RV open network with the password provided at check-in. - Cookhouse – Oceanside RV is also available for use while in the cookhouse with the same password. Cable - The TV in our Cookhouse is accessible to all of our guests and has a full cable package. - We do not provide cable to individual sites, however, Shaw can provide direct services (or transfer your existing services) if you are here for at least 1 month. Rate Structure - All rates are based on two-person occupancy, maximum of 5 adults per site (18+) and 8 total guests (including children). - Additional adults are $5 each per night. Garbage - Garbage, recycle and compost may not be stored outside as they attract wildlife. - Please dispose daily at the garbage area. - Oversized items, renovation waste and hazardous materials (propane bottles) may not be disposed of in the garbage area. Beach - Please be respectful of our Tsawout First Nation neighbors while enjoying the beach. - Our beach access is located beside Building 3/ the beach house. - When you reach the beach, please keep to the right/south (towards Island View) and below the high-tide line (natural driftwood resting place). - Pets must be on a leash at all time while accessing the beach and the beach is glass free. Additional - Outdoor storage, tarps and sound equipment are not permitted. - Max one extra tent per site in addition to an RV, if they are in the same party. - Please be sure to close your awnings when leaving your RV unattended. - Strong winds can come up suddenly and cause damage. - Washing of vehicles is not permitted due to environmental regulations. - Clotheslines are not permitted anywhere on the Site. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy - 7 days' notice for an Overnight Voyageur reservation. - 14 days' notice for all Cottage Rental reservations. - 14 days' notice for Overnight Voyageur reservations longer than 30 days. - If more than required notice is provided, a $20 admin fee plus tax will be charged and the remainder of the deposit will be refunded. - If less than required notice is provided, the full original deposit will be forfeited. Overnight RV - If more than 7 days‘ notice is given, a $20 administration fee (plus applicable taxes) will be charged. - Less than 7 days’ notice to cancel will result in the original deposit being forfeited. No Shows & Late Arrivals - Reserved sites are held until 11am the day after your scheduled arrival date. - If you do not notify the Property of a late arrival, you will be considered a no-show, and your reservation will be cancelled. - All deposits will be forfeited, and the Property will have the right to give your site away to another visitor. - If you think you will be late, please call the Property directly. Reservation Changes - For Overnight Voyageur RV sites, you may change your dates up to 7 days before your booked arrival. - Dropping nights within 7 days of your arrival, you will still be responsible for the original nights booked. - For Cabin or Yurt Rentals, you may change your dates up to 14 days before your booked arrival. - Dropping nights within 14 days of your arrival, you will still be responsible for the original nights booked. Leaving Early - In the case of early departure, guests are still responsible for the full amount of their reservation. - Guests receiving a monthly rate are required to give 30 days’ notice prior to their billing date. - All Spot2Nite reservations require payment in full at the time of booking. - Please contact Spot2Nite to cancel a reservation via email to [email protected] or call (877)778-2683, Option 1. - Spot2Nite convenience fees and credit card processing fees are non-refundable.
