ASK OUR TEAM Are you close to San Diego attractions? - Oak Creek RV Resort is in East County San Diego County. - Located off Interstate 8, it is a 20–25-minute drive to many top attractions, beaches, and downtown San Diego. - Spend your days exploring the top San Diego attractions when you stay at the resort, including the San Diego Zoo and SeaWorld. Are you close to shopping and dining? - Absolutely. There are several local restaurants in El Cajon within two minutes of the resort. - Grocery stores and major retailers, like Walmart, are only 10 minutes away. - For our favorite shopping and dining spots, visit our front office for a local map. Do you offer full hookups? - Each of our RV resort spaces features water, sewer, cable TV, and 30/50-amp electric hookups. - All stays 14 nights and longer are subject to metered electric charges. Do you have pull-through spaces? Can you accommodate a 45' RV? - Yes, and yes. Oak Creek RV Resort offers pull-through sites. - Due to their high demand, we do not offer these sites for extended stay reservations. - We do, however, have many large sites for our extended stay guests and owners of the larger RVs up to 45’. Do you have restrictions on RV types? - All RVs must be fully self-contained and are subject to exterior inspection upon arrival. - Your RV must be clean and rust-free with no broken windows. - Motorized RVs must be in running and in working condition. - Tarps on roofs and other modifications are strictly prohibited. - Tent camping is prohibited at Oak Creek RV Resort. - The resort has a complete list of rules and regulations available for your review. How do I get to Sunland's Oak Creek RV Resort? - From Westbound I-8: Take exit #20A for Greenfield Dr. Go right, through the signal (Pepper Dr.), and the resort entrance will be to your right. - View our resort on Google Maps and get directions here. What are your rates? - Our rates are based on the length of stay, the size of the space, the amenities of each site, and its location within the resort. - View our rates page here - Make a reservation online or phone toll-free. Do you offer discounts or special offers? - Yes. We offer exciting specials throughout the year, including our weekend getaway offers and Pampered Pooch Package. - We also offer discounted rates for traveling nurses and linemen on extended stays and a 10% discount for active-duty military with a valid ID at check-in, Offers may not be combined and do not apply to any other discounted rates. Do you have a loyalty program? - While we're not a membership or ownership RV resort, we proudly present our Loyalty Program dedicated to honoring and celebrating our valued guests. - Pioneering the Outdoor Hospitality sector with this innovative offering, Sunland RV Resorts cements its position as an industry trailblazer. - Upon enrollment, guests will accrue points based on their total spending. - As points accumulate to defined thresholds for each loyalty tier, guests ascend to higher program levels, unlocking exclusive perks and expedited points accumulation. How long can I stay? - The Oak Creek RV Resort has a 6-month extended stay limit for all guests. - Please inquire with the front desk for seasonal stays. Can I reserve a specific RV site? - We don’t guarantee site numbers and we do not assign your site number until the day of arrival. - We would be happy to make note of any site requests on your reservation and will do our best to accommodate it. Is a deposit required when making a reservation? - Yes. Here is the breakdown: Nightly: - Arrival more than 3 days prior to arrival*: 1 night + tax - Arrival more than 3 days prior to arrival*: 100% of stay Weekly: - Arrival more than 7 days: 25% of stay - Arrival 7 days or less: 100% of stay - Monthly: $600 deposit. What is your reservation change policy? Change Requests: - Nightly & Weekly: If changed/modified within 3 days of arrival (after 12PM), a fee equal to the guest’s first night will apply. - Monthly: If changed/modified within 7 days of arrival (after 12PM), a fee may apply. Contact the front desk. Do you have a heated pool? - Yes. Our resort offers a temperature-controlled outdoor pool and a hot tub spa for year-round relaxation and enjoyment. - The enclosed pool area features landscaping, shade umbrellas, and lounges. Do you have a laundry facility? - Yes, we have spotless on-site laundry facilities for your convenience and long-term RV stays. Can I host a private event at the resort? - You can host a private event, party, rally, reunion, or reception in our clubhouse, which features a catering kitchen and plenty of space to celebrate. - We also offer an outdoor pool and a picnic area for outdoor gatherings. Can I have a campfire? - For your safety, campfires are not allowed. Local city ordinances do not permit campfires near RVs and propane gas. However, barbecues are welcome on the patio. Do you offer RV storage on-site? - Oak Creek RV Resort doesn’t offer any RV Storage, but our sister site, Vacationer RV Park does offer RV storage. Do you offer RV rentals? - We do not rent RVs. - However, we can provide you with several local rental companies including Cruise America 800-671-8042 and El Monte RV 619-449-1513. Travel Directions - East Bound I-8: Exit #23 Lake Jennings. At the stop sign go straight onto Olde Highway 80 for 2.4 miles. - Turn left at Oak Creek Rd Resort on the left. - West Bound I-8: Exit #27 Dunbar, go right on Dunbar, make an immediate left on Olde Highway 80 for 1.4 miles, right on Oak Creek Rd. - The resort is on the Left.
