5.01 reviewsPositioned on the Long Beach Peninsula in Seaview, Washington, Dwell Seaview RV Park occupies a centrally located stretch of coastline within roughly one mile of three of the peninsula's primary destinations—Long Beach, the Port of Ilwaco, and Cape Disappointment State Park. The park's 13 RV spaces and three cottage rentals create a small-scale, intimate property that contrasts with larger campgrounds elsewhere on the peninsula, and the recently installed infrastructure gives guests a clean, well-maintained base for exploring one of the Pacific Northwest's most distinctive coastal barrier spit environments.
All 13 RV sites are equipped with 50-amp electrical service, water, sewer, and full electricity hookups, and the site dimensions—ranging from 35 to 70 feet and designed on flat, level ground—accommodate large rigs without the maneuvering challenges that older campground layouts sometimes present. The three rental cottages, including the Cozy Cottage and Beck's Bunkhouse, are configured for groups of two to six guests and provide a furnished lodging alternative for visitors who prefer a stationary vacation rental experience with access to the campground's coastal location and nearby peninsula attractions.
The Long Beach Peninsula is one of the Pacific Northwest's most geographically distinctive landscapes—a narrow sand spit extending approximately 28 miles along the Washington coast, with the Pacific Ocean on the west side and Willapa Bay on the east. The Pacific-facing shoreline offers beach walking, kite flying, surf observation, and beachcombing across one of the most expansive stretches of undeveloped coastline in the region. The sheltered bay side supports birding, clamming, and kayaking in calmer tidal conditions, and the peninsula's cranberry bogs, estuarine wetlands, and coastal forest give the interior a varied ecological character across all seasons.
Cape Disappointment State Park, less than a mile from the campground, encompasses the headland at the mouth of the Columbia River and anchors the peninsula's historical and natural attraction roster. The Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center traces the expedition's arrival at the Pacific Coast in 1805, and two historic lighthouses—Cape Disappointment Light and North Head Light—provide dramatic views of the Columbia River bar and open Pacific. The Port of Ilwaco marina serves as the peninsula's primary charter fishing hub for salmon, halibut, and bottom fish in the nearshore Pacific waters throughout the season.
Dwell Seaview is open across the peninsula's primary visitor season, with summer weekends filling quickly given strong demand for Long Beach Peninsula accommodations during July and August. The shoulder seasons of late spring and early fall offer quieter coastal stays with weather well suited to beach walking and wildlife observation on both sides of the peninsula. Advance reservations are recommended for cottage bookings during summer and holiday weekends, as the park's limited site count means high-demand dates fill well ahead of arrival. The park's new infrastructure combined with a location between two state-park-scale natural attractions makes it one of the more strategically positioned small properties on the Long Beach Peninsula for guests planning multi-day coastal itineraries.

this is a small park with a few cabins. I was met, greeted, and shown my spot. All sites are back-in however witht guiding help from my host I did my best ever at backing in. And I've used his advice to do a better job of backing in since I left.
It's quiet, feels safe, and was handy to everything I wanted ...Show more
