Lost Lake RV Park - Atlanta, TX

Atlanta, Texas

32 RV Sites

In Atlanta, Texas—in Cass County in the Piney Woods region of east Texas where the longleaf and loblolly pine forests of the upper Sabine River watershed create the specific timber and freshwater character that east Texas's lake-country campground market has built its recreational identity around, and where Wright Patman Lake's 20,300-acre U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reservoir on the Sulphur River provides the fishing, swimming, and boating infrastructure that Cass County's outdoor recreation calendar centers on—Lost Lake RV Park provides full hookup lakefront sites with 20, 30, and 50-amp electric, water, and sewer connections, complimentary high-speed fiber WiFi, lake views, modern showers, and the pet-friendly lakefront access that positions the park as the closest full-amenity RV campground to both Atlanta State Park's 1,475 acres on Wright Patman Lake and the Texarkana corridor's outdoor recreation market. The private lake for fishing, the fiber WiFi, and the Wright Patman Lake proximity define Lost Lake's distinct position in the east Texas campground market. Full hookup sites with 20, 30, and 50-amp electric, water, and sewer in the shaded, spacious east Texas Piney Woods lakefront setting accommodate the full range of RV sizes with the lake access that differentiates a lakefront site from a simple highway hookup. Complimentary high-speed fiber internet provides the connectivity quality that the remote Cass County location would otherwise make difficult to obtain at a consistent speed. A clubhouse with lake views serves as the community gathering space and provides the indoor recreation option. Modern restrooms and shower facilities maintain the cleanliness standard that the campground's Good Sam ratings reflect. A private fishing lake on the property itself gives the immediate catch-and-release angling option without requiring the Wright Patman Lake marina trip. Pet-friendly policies accommodate the traveling family's canine members throughout the property. Atlanta State Park—on the shore of Wright Patman Lake approximately 11 miles from Lost Lake—provides the 1,475-acre state park infrastructure with hiking trails through the Piney Woods longleaf pine habitat, swimming at the park's lake beach, bass and crappie fishing from the park's fishing pier and coves, and the birdwatching access to the mixed pine-hardwood habitat that the Piney Woods interior supports in the migrating and resident species that the birding community specifically targets during the fall raptor migration and spring warbler passage. The Atlanta Historical Museum—in downtown Atlanta, Texas—preserves the specific Cass County heritage of the timber industry, the Texas and Pacific Railway, and the east Texas Piney Woods community history in the collection that the museum's volunteer-maintained programming makes available on a scheduled basis. Texarkana—35 miles east on US 59—provides the metropolitan shopping, dining, and entertainment infrastructure for the extended-stay guest's supply and recreation needs beyond the campground's immediate Piney Woods setting. Lost Lake RV Park is open year-round in the east Texas Piney Woods climate. The Wright Patman Lake bass and crappie fishing seasons create year-round demand, with spring spawning and fall cooling-water periods representing the most productive angling. Reserve the lakefront site, bring the fishing rod for the private lake, and let the Wright Patman Lake proximity and the east Texas pine forest earn the Piney Woods campground experience that Cass County's outdoor recreation infrastructure delivers in the specific geography between the Red River country and the Caddo Lake basin to the south.
