Beautiful little campground. Friendly owners and staff. Everyone in the campground great. We stayed right on the Beaverkill river. Bring Your trout Fishing pole. Swimming hole on the river as well.

We had a good experience with Paul the owner of Butternut Grove. I was in the hospital when we were booked and Paul let us change the date. Directions - Butternut Grove is easily accessed via State Highway 17, soon to be renamed 86. - Take exit 92 towards Crooks Falls, go left at the end of the exit. At the T section, make a left; after the overpass, make a right; following old route 17, Butternut Grove Campsites is on your right. From New York City: - Take the George Washington Bridge to Route 4 for about 6.8 miles. - Then take Route 17 North for about 14 miles until you see signs for I-287 N/NJ-17 N toward I-87 N/NY-17 N toward New York Thruway/Albany (I-287), Continue for another 14 miles. - Take exit 16 for NY-17 W toward US-6/Harriman, stay on Route 17 for 73 miles until you reach Exit 92 towards Cooks Falls, and go left at the end of the exit. - At the T section, make a left; after the overpass, make a right; following old route 17, Butternut Grove Campsites is on your right. From Binghamton: - Follow NY-17 east to Old Route 17 in Colcester. Rules

Registration and Arrival Check-In Procedure - ALL VISITORS MUST CHECK IN- Please inform ANY guests you are expecting- - Check-in/Check-out is 3:00 PM. - Three-day minimum on Holiday weekends. - Deposit and reservation required. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Speed Limit - 5 MPH speed limit – STRICTLY ENFORCED Vehicle Policy - One Camping Unit and two vehicles per site. - Limit 4 people- $7 per night per extra person, Children free, $7 per night extra vehicle, $7 per night per extra unit. - No mini-bikes, four wheelers are allowed - Bicycles allowed on roads only – DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS ONLY. - No Vehicle washing. Camping Policy - The Camping Fee is for one Camping Unit, not one site if you put more then one camper on a site you will be charged per unit Quiet Hours - Quiet Time is from 10:00 PM to 8:00AM - No Loud Music. Children Policy - Children must not be left unattended, We are not responsible - Parents are responsible for the behavior of their children and guests. - Children are welcome with an accompanying adult - Children aged 10 and under stay free Fire Policy - No fireworks, firearms, pellet guns, BB guns, or slingshots allowed - Do not move fire rings- Fire rings ARE NOT garbage pails, If it doesn't burn don't put it in. - Moved Fire- rings will be moved due to damage to the grass. Nature Policy - No Tree or brush cutting - do not deface trees or attach objects to trees Swimming Policy - No Swimming. - No bare feet. Behavioral Policy - Respect others' sites, do not walk through or infringe in any way Pets Policy - Pets must be leashed and quiet at all times and not left unattended. - Clean up after pets, all animal waste will be bagged and disposed of. - A $50 CHARGE PER PILE OF PET WASTE FOUND ON YOUR SITE AFTER CHECKOUT WILL BE CHARGED TO YOUR ACCOUNT. - Pets must weigh under 100 pounds - Pets must be on a leash at all times Owners must clean up after pets Owners are responsible for the behavior of their pet NO pets in the bathhouse or laundry. Pets may not be left unattended when outside Barking and/or aggressive pets are not tolerated. Garbage - Garbage must be put in the dumpster- all recyclables MUST BE BAGGED and put in containers next to the dumpster. - ALL OTHER ITEMS SUCH AS BICYCLES, GRILLS, CHAIRS, TVS ETC. MUST BE TAKEN HOME FOR DISPOSAL. - Grey water is considered sewage and is not allowed to run on the ground. Storage - The winterizing and winter storage fees are due when you leave at the end of the season. Bathhouse Rules - No Smoking. - No children under 10 years of age allowed without adult supervision. - Absolutely no dishwashing. - No Pets, No Bare feet, No wet suits or waders, No Food.

Cancellation Policy

MODERATE If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
