- Burning pallets, refuse, or any other items besides firewood in campsite fire rings/pits is not permitted, nor is any modification to or relocation of the fire ring/pit.
- Due to invasive insects, disease, and local regulations, we DO NOT allow outside firewood to be brought to our campground. For more info, please see the FAQ below.
What is provided on the site?
- Each campsite contains a fireplace (stone or ring), picnic table, and freshwater spigot on every site.
- Depending upon the type of campsite reserved, electricity, grey water connection, and/or sewer may also be present.
What are my choices for payment?
- We do ask for full payment (all major credit cards are accepted) at the time of booking for all reservations less than 28 nights in length.
- Reservations for 28 nights or greater are subject to alternate payment terms depending on the reservation.
Can we bring our pets camping with us?
- We are friendly-pet friendly!
- You can bring 2 friendly dogs with you.
- You will need to provide proof that your dog(s) is/are current on their rabies vaccinations.
- We don’t allow excessive barking, so please keep that in mind as some dogs cannot handle the sights, sounds, and smells associated with camping.
- No dogs may be left outside unattended.
- All guests must immediately pick up after their pet or be subject to a fine.
- Tent sites: We discourage dogs from camping with you on a tent site, and cats are not permitted on tent sites.
When are you open for camping?
- It varies a day or two each year, but mid-April through mid-October is our approximate season.
Can I have visitors while camping?
- Yes, but please let your visitors know that there is a per-person visitor’s fee.
- Many visitors are not campers themselves and would not anticipate this.
- Visitors may check-in between 8 am and 9 pm and are welcome to stay until 10 pm.
- Visitors have full use of all campground amenities and access to all campground activities during their visit.
- There is a limit of a total of 2 cars per site and any visitors bringing cars that may put you over this limit will be required to use auxiliary parking areas.
- Also, please let any expected guests know that they may not bring their pets to the park and that they must know both your last name AND your campsite number as we will not release your name and site number when they are registering.
Can I request my favorite site?
- You sure can! If your preferred site is available, you can pay an additional nightly fee to Lock in the site.
- If you choose not to lock in your site choice, your final site will not be assigned until check-in.
- You will be placed on a site that meets or exceeds your requested size and hookup selections.
Is there wildlife or insects we should be concerned about?
- Exposing your family to the joys of camping also means introducing them to wildlife.
- To avoid attracting critters to your site, you should not leave food or trash out.
- As the majority of our campsites are wooded and we do have wetland areas throughout our campground, be certain to always wear proper clothing and insect repellant.
- If you encounter wildlife during your stay, please be respectful of the critter(s) in question and notify camp staff if you believe there is an issue.
What size RVs do your sites accommodate and what type of hookups?
- Our sites vary in size but can accommodate the largest manufactured RVs.
- A “Full Hookup” site is considered one with water, electricity, and sewer.
- All RV campsites have, at minimum, water, 20/30AMP electricity, and grey water connection.
- Many sites also have 50 AMP electricity and full sewer connections.
- Tent campsites DO NOT have electricity. All Campsites also have a picnic table and a fire pit (stone or ring; varies depending on the campsite).
