Ocean Shores RV Park
76 RV Sites
Ocean Shores RV Park in Homer, Alaska, offers 76 back-in RV sites with 30 and 50-amp service and rigs accepted to 40 feet on a big-rig-friendly layout. Sites with fire pits at three service levels join a dedicated dry camping category, with beach access, walking trails, a general store, and a bar.
Seventy-six back-in sites span 30/50-amp with fire pit, 30-amp, 30-amp with fire pit, water-and-electric with fire pit, and dry camping with fire pit categories, carrying water, sewer, and electric where noted, sized to 40 feet. The tiered structure is unusually honest — you can book full hookups, water and electric, or dry camp, and pay accordingly, with a fire pit on most tiers. Note the 40-foot cap before booking a larger rig. A general store, laundry, restrooms, showers, portable toilets, and firewood handle the practical side.
A beach sits at the property, with walking trails, a dog park, and a bar filling the rest. Boating is nearby, along with wine and beer tasting, and planned activities run through the season. Pets are welcome.
Homer earns its billing as the Halibut Fishing Capital of the World through the concentrations of Pacific halibut in the deep channels of Kachemak Bay off the Homer Spit — a four-and-a-half-mile gravel bar that is one of the most distinctive fishing ports in Alaska and the launching point for the charter fleet.
The Alaska season is short and sharp. June through August is peak, and charter-fishing demand fills the town. Reserve as early as you can.
