All carry water, sewer, and electric with site-delivered WiFi and a picnic table. At 75 feet the pull-thrus take long coaches. Creek frontage runs the property, with hiking, swimming, picnicking, planned activities, and the kind of high-desert dark sky that makes stargazing a reason to stay up. Mayhill sits at 6,700 feet in the Sacramento Mountains of Otero County, in Lincoln National Forest ponderosa country. White Sands, Bluff Springs, Carlsbad Caverns, the OSHA Trail, golf at The Lodge, and Ruidoso Downs are all within range. Rates for sites, cabins, and tent spots are on the booking page. Summer in the mountains is the busy season here.

Gleatherland Ranch

18 RV Sites

Gleatherland Ranch in El Paso, TX, offers 18 RV sites with 20, 30, and 50-amp service and back-in sites for rigs up to 50 feet. Sites come in two types — full-hookup back-ins carrying water, sewer, and electric with site-delivered WiFi, and primitive back-ins for guests who want the simpler version. A bathhouse with showers, a dump station, portable toilets near the primitive area, a barn, and a community fire pit cover the essentials. The ranch is explicitly LGBTIQA+ friendly and pet friendly. The property spans 18 scenic acres with walking trails, hiking, picnicking, and some of the best stargazing in the region — the desert sky here is genuinely dark. The ranch sits three miles from Hueco Tanks State Park, the volcanic rock formation complex that holds the most significant concentration of rock art in Texas and doubles as a world-class bouldering destination. Rates for full-hookup and primitive sites are on the booking page. Hueco Tanks limits daily visitors and requires reservations, so book the park visit alongside your site.
