Eight cabins and seven tent sites round out the accommodations. A general store, laundry, propane fills and exchange, dump station, restrooms, showers, and firewood handle the practical side. There is no limit on the number of people included in a site rental and no charge for additional guests. The amenity set is unusually deep for a highway-corridor resort. A water park anchors warm-weather recreation, a fitness center and clubhouse run year-round, and a library and game room serve quieter hours. Billiards, a playground, and a dog park round it out, with a creek running the property. Pets are welcome. Laramie's altitude gives it cool summers when the Colorado Front Range is baking. The University of Wyoming sits in town, and the Snowy Range and Medicine Bow National Forest carry the alpine recreation that makes this one of the more underrated bases on I-80 between Cheyenne and Salt Lake City.
