Sandhills Global Event Center in Lincoln, NE, offers 37 RV sites with 30 and 50-amp service and room for rigs up to 55 feet.
Sites come in three categories — back-in 30/50-amp, pull-thru 30/50-amp, and pull-thru 30-amp — each carrying water and electric. There's no sewer at the site, so plan on the on-site dump station. The park is rated big rig friendly, with laundry, a bathhouse with showers, propane fills and exchange, a pavilion, and WiFi. Pets are welcome.
Walking trails run the grounds with hiking and biking, and the event center campus itself is the differentiator — guests park inside a working fairgrounds and event venue rather than at a standalone campground, which is ideal during a show and quiet between them.
Lincoln is the state capital and home of the University of Nebraska, at the eastern edge of the Great Plains.
