Quarry Ledge Campground
28 RV Sites, 4 Cabins, 24 Tent Sites
Quarry Ledge Campground in Mount Desert, ME, offers 28 RV sites, 4 cabins, and 24 tent sites, with 20 and 30-amp service and back-in sites for rigs up to 45 feet.
Sites come in three categories — 30-amp back-in, 20/30-amp back-in, and 20-amp rustic — each carrying water and electric with a fire pit. There's no sewer at the site, so plan on the on-site dump station. Note the electrical: service tops out at 30-amp, so a rig wired for heavier draw will need an adapter and some load management. A bathhouse with showers, firewood, portable toilets in the rustic area, and cabins cover the rest. Pets are welcome.
An outdoor pool, boat docks, boat rentals, walking trails, and horseshoes support swimming, boating, paddling, paddle boarding, paddle boats, fishing, hiking, biking, and corn hole.
Quarry Ledge sits on Somes Sound on Mount Desert Island — widely described as the only true fjord on the eastern seaboard, a glacially carved inlet that splits the island — with Acadia National Park all around it.
Rates for sites, cabins, and tent spots are on the booking page. Acadia's summer season books out months ahead.
