Twin Bears Wooded Campground (formerly named "Michigan Oaks Camping Resort" or "Indian River Jellystone") is located in the heart of beautiful northern Michigan. Just four miles East of I-75, we offer 160 spacious, wooded sites: 31 full hookups with sewer, 57 with electric and water, 51 with electric-only, and 21 rustic sites. Four camping cabins (2 with plumbing) are also available for your relaxing, fun-filled getaway. Our campground staff invites you to come to relax and enjoy our beautiful Indian River, MI location. Rules

Campground Policies: - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Deposits & Payments: - A deposit for the first night's stay is collected at the time of purchase - Payment for retail items and gift certificates is collected at the time of purchase Children & Pets: -Children are welcome with an accompanying adult -Children age 3 and under stay free -Pets are welcome -Pet Policy: -Two pet limits per site! Use designated pet walk areas and clean up after your pet. Pets must be staked or kenneled at the campsite, and they must be attended to at all times. Please don't leave them alone inside your camper when you leave the park. Doggy daycare is available nearby. No pets in buildings, or the recreation area inside of Chipmunk Circle. No overly protective/aggressive dogs are allowed. Nuisance -pets are grounds for being asked to leave, without a refund. CAMPING: CHECK-IN AT 2 PM- CHECK OUT AT 11 AM -Sites are intended for 1 camping unit. 1 extra tent for children under 18 is $5.00 per night and cannot be on a cabin or full hookup site. -Rates include 2 adults and children. Each additional adult will be charged $5.00 per night. Limit of 8 people per site at all times. RULES: -After dark – Children under the age of 18 must be at their campsite unless accompanied by an adult. Bikes must be properly illuminated. -Store Hours: Monday-Thursday 9 am-7 pm and Fri-Sun 9 am-8 pm. Children under the age of 14 must have an adult present with them. -Quiet Hours: 10:30 PM to 8:00 AM -Driving: Children are at play! Drive slowly. -Car tags must always be visible from the road. Every car must have a tag to be in the park. Violators will be towed at the owner’s expense. Back into your site or parallel to the road. We don’t want to walk on your site to see the tag. -ATVs, Dirt Bikes, and Motorcycles- Must be driven by a person with a driver’s license to exit and enter the park from 8:00 AM and before 10:30 PM. No driving around the park! -Do not bring your own firewood from outside sources. The wood we sell in our office for $6.00 a bundle is inspected to be free of invasive insects. Help us protect and preserve our wooded setting. -Never leave your campfire unattended. Douse your fire before leaving your site, going to bed, or checking out. Always watch your children around campfires. Don’t burn garbage or leave garbage/pet waste on your campsite or in the fire ring. There will be a $20.00 charge for non-compliance. -Do not move picnic tables. Check with the office to request tables be moved and all tables not returned to the original location will be issued a $15.00 charge. -Bounce-houses and golf carts are not permitted within the park. PROHIBITED: -Firearms, fireworks (including sparklers and pop-its), generators and chainsaws, Chinese lanterns, recreational marijuana, and drones. VISITOR POLICY: -Visiting hours are 9:00 AM- 9:00 PM. All visitors must register at the office, pay an entrance fee and disclose the site and name of the camper they are visiting. The entrance fee is $5.00 per vehicle per day. The tag provided must be visible, please back in. Vehicles without a tag will be towed at the owner's expense. Pool use is $5.00 per person per day and a wristband will be provided. -If your visitor(s) decide to spend the night with you, they must register at the office as a camper before the office closes. All overnight guests must follow camping rules and check out by 11:00 AM. Please remember there can be no more than 2 vehicles allowed per site and no more than 8 people per site (per Michigan law.) -Music must always be at a respectable level. -This Park is privately-owned property, and we reserve the right to remove without refund anyone whose conduct or language is disruptive to others, this includes being disrespectful to guests or employees.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation/Refund Policy : Spot2Nite convenience fees are non-refundable. CANCELLATION POLICY: - A DEPOSIT WILL BE COLLECTED WHEN MAKING YOUR RESERVATION. IT WILL BE APPLIED TO YOUR BALANCE UPON ARRIVAL. RESERVATION DEPOSITS ARE FOR SPECIFIC DATES AND NOT TRANSFERRABLE. - IF YOU CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION WITHIN 30 DAYS OF CHECK-IN, THE DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE. CANCELLATIONS MADE LESS THAN 48 HOURS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL FORFEIT THE DEPOSIT AND WILL BE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL NIGHT’S STAY (FOR MULTI-NIGHT STAYS). THERE WILL BE A $10.00 CHARGE FOR CANCELLATIONS MORE THAN 30 DAYS BEFORE CHECK-IN. -THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS FOR SHORTENING YOUR STAY THE DAY OF CHECK-IN. YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR ALL OF THE DAYS OF YOUR RESERVATION. -AFTER A RESERVATION HAS BEEN MADE, CHANGING THE DATES OF YOUR STAY OR SITES WILL RESULT IN A $10 ADMINISTRATION FEE. REQUIRED DEPOSITS FOR CAMPING AND CABINS: -Daily Rate – One night’s deposit will be collected when making your reservation. Balance is due upon arrival. -Monthly rate - A 25% deposit will be collected when making the reservation. Balance is due upon arrival. -Sites accommodate up to 2 vehicles – Boats, Trailers, and ATVs are considered vehicles. Additional vehicles may be stored/parked behind the Guard House for $5.00 per day. You must notify the office before parking. CABINS: -Comfort Cabins (C&D): two-night minimum stay, three-night minimum over holidays (Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day). Cabins are designed for 2 adults and 2 children. Bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, towels, and other linens. -Rustic Cabins (A & B) can be reserved for a one-night stay Monday-Thursday. Minimum two-night stay over weekends and a minimum 3-night stay over holiday weekends. -No additional camping units or tents are allowed at the sites. -No Smoking and No Pets are allowed in the cabins. There will be an additional charge for non-compliance or other losses or damages that are incurred up to $500.00 charged to the customer for up to two weeks after check-out. The person that registered for the cabin rental must be one of the occupants and will be the responsible party. Early Check-Ins: (before 2 PM) or Late Check-outs: (after 11 AM) will be charged $25.00 -You must notify the office if you are not checking out by 11:00 AM. Please do not arrive earlier than 2 pm to allow staff to clean out fire pits and tidy up sites for your enjoyment. REFUNDS: -Camping is an outdoor activity and therefore no refunds will be given for inclement weather or other discomforts of nature, early departure, or unforeseen circumstances (such as sudden loss of power or water). SERVICES: -Non-camper dump fee $15.00 -Non-camper water fill-up $15.00 -Non-camper shower $5.00 per person -Honey wagon (empty septic from your site) $25.00 STORAGE: -Winter and Summer outdoor storage $250.00. -Outdoor Storage/Parking Daily Rate $5.00. -Outdoor Storage/Parking Daily Rate with Electric $20 per day. ACTIVITIES: -Mini golf equipment is offered at $2.00 per person. The last game must start no later than one hour before the office closes. -Pool open Memorial Day – Labor Day -No Lifeguard on Duty- Children under the age of 14 must always have an adult (18 or older) supervising them inside the pool area. No running, diving, or rough play. Pool hours are 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Drinks with lids (no glass) are allowed on the concrete or deck area. No open cans or cups are allowed. -Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: 6:00 PM - Wagon Rides 7:00 PM - Candy Bar Bingo 8:15 PM - Outdoor Movie -Activities may be canceled due to weather or arising circumstances.
