Tippy Dam on the Big Manistee River is a world-class fishing hotspot. We are steps from the Dam. The Manistee River stretches on for over forty miles. The Manistee River is the third river running through the Manistee National Forest and is considered the "family river" for its slow-moving, calm current and its nice width. We are in the "Heart" of the Manistee National Forest, in Manistee County. We have Electric Service on 24 Sites. We have 11 Sites that have no electricity. We have picnic tables and fire pits on all of our sites. We have a bath house with showers we upgraded our septic system in the fall of 2024. We have a water fill station and a dump station available for use. We are pet-friendly. We are open year-round, so come and stay with us and enjoy all the area has to offer. Rules

Check-In Procedure - Check-In 2:00 PM. - Check-Out 11:00 AM. - Cabin Check-In 3:00 PM. - Cabin Check-Out 11:00 AM. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Quiet Time - 11:00 PM-7:00 AM. Registration Tags - Must be visibly displayed on all vehicles. Speed Limit - Is 5 mph at all times for all vehicles. Vehicle & Registration Rules - Registration tags must be visibly displayed on all vehicles. - ORV’s side by sides, ATVs/Motorcycles/Dirt Bikes etc., are allowed in the park and need to observe the speed limit. - Please refrain from revving of engines of all vehicles at any time. Campfire Rules - Please do not move the fire rings. - if you have a concern about the position of the fire ring, please come to the office and we can discuss it. - Please do not use the fire ring as a garbage pit; there is a dumpster for your garbage up front. Pet Policy - Pets are always welcome but must be on a leash, cleaned up after, and closely monitored. - Please do not leave your pet at your site unattended if they have behavioral problems and/or will continuously bark. Waste & Sanitation - Wastewater must be properly discharged into an authorized receptacle only and never discharged onto the ground. - Fish Cleaning is allowed at the fish cleaning station only, not at your site. - All fish carcasses must be bagged in garbage bags before disposal into the dumpster. Guest Policy - Respect for Other Guests - Do not walk through occupied sites. Generator Policy - Generators may be used between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM. Prohibited Items & Activities - No use of fireworks, firearms, BB guns, slingshots, or chainsaws in the campground. Rates - Holidays or special events will differ. - Children 12 and under are no charge. Liability Disclaimer - Tippy Dam Campground and Cabins is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items at or around your campsite. - This includes your vehicle, RV, tent, boat, ORV, etc.

Cancellation Policy

Campsites Cancellation Policy - Reservations cancelled more than 1 week prior to arrival will forfeit your first night's paid amount. - Reservations cancelled within 1 week of arrival forfeit the total amount of your reservation. - We do not give credit or refunds for early departures, evictions, weather, or other situations. - The cancellation policy is strictly enforced. Cabin Cancellation Policy - If cancelled 30 days or more prior to arrival, you will receive a full refund less a $25 processing fee. - If less than 30 days before the arrival date, you forfeit a $75 processing fee. - We do not give credit or refunds for early departures, evictions, weather, or other situations. - Please note that rental cancellation policies are strictly enforced. - All Spot2Nite reservations require payment in full at the time of booking. - Please contact Spot2Nite to cancel a reservation via email to [email protected] or call (877)778-2683, Option 1. - Spot2Nite convenience fees and credit card processing fees are non-refundable.
