Raton Pass Camp & Café is conveniently located off Interstate 25 at the top of Raton Pass between Trinidad, Colorado, and Raton, New Mexico. Easy access from either the northbound or southbound lanes is accessed by Exit 460. See our Directions page. Whether stopping for a restful overnight or an extended visit we have the perfect site for your RV or tent. You will love our competitive rates. There are panoramic views of the Sangres de Cristo Mountains, Bartlett's Mesa, and Raton Valley. Our view starts at Savage Canyon which is home to pinion pine, ponderosa pine, and Gamble Oak. Our wildlife neighbors include black bears, mountain lions, elk, mule deer, wild turkeys, and hummingbirds. Our sunrises and sunsets take our breath and fill our guest’s memory cards. Some days we know the pot of gold is close by when the rainbow’s end is within arm’s reach. A short walk will allow you to view where the Mountain Branch of the Santa Fe Trail crosses Historic Raton Pass. You'll love our level, big rig-friendly sites including true 50 amp electrical service. Whether you desire an easy pull-through or back-in with a million-dollar view we have the perfect site. Enjoy our sparkling clean shower and laundry house, gathering room, free WIFI, seasonal café, store, and covered patio. Raton Pass Camp welcomes well-behaved pets with responsible owners. Rules

Check-In Procedure: - Check-In: 12 PM (noon) - 8 PM - Check-Out: 11 AM - Please Check in at the office from 12-7 pm. - After 7 pm maps will be left at door. - Check-in ends at sundown, gates will be closed and late arrivals will be refused without a late arrival fee and management approval. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Campfires - We do not supply campfire rings at sites. Some sites are acceptable for fully contained fireplaces. - Often times we are under burn bans and never allow campfires on high wind days. Inquire with the camp office for more information. - We do have a community fire pit and grills are allowed. RV Condition and Safety - Guest must adhere to all state insurance laws. RV must be in safe operating condition, including but not limited to proper and safe electrical cord and connection, no leaking water or sewer, and no leaking fluids from engines. - Management reserves the right to refuse entrance to unsafe vehicles. Internet Usage - We provide internet as a courtesy and it is a privilege. - The only ISP available is a satellite connection. We purchase the largest packet available to businesses. We cannot allow internet streaming of music or TV. We will revoke anyone's privilege who streams. Pet Restrictions and Fees - All animals must have current vaccinations and owners shall provide proof. - No vicious dogs are allowed. - All dogs must be walked on leashes. - If an owner fails to pick up after a pet, a $25 fine will be issued. - Animals must sleep inside RV or Tent. - An animal left outside is bait for Mountain Lions and Bobcats. - Dogs that bark and disturb neighbors will not be tolerated. - Contact Camp Office for additional info. Cancellation Policy

Campground Cancellation Policy - There is a strict 3 day cancellation policy (i.e. reservation date = 8/4, required notification = 8/1). - Any reservation not canceled 3 days prior to arrival will be a total forfeiture. - A $10 cancellation fee will apply to all to all one-day reservations each additional day will increase the cancelation fee by $3.00. - All refund calculations exclude the RoverPass service fees and credit card processing, which are non-refundable. RoverPass Cancellation Policy - The platform and processing fees are non-refundable. - Spot2Nite convenience fees are non-refundable.
