About the Park

We are a privately owned campground with owners or staff on-site 24/7. This is a great place to relax and exercise with social distancing as there is plenty of space to get out and walk about and with trails both on the property and connecting with the Okefenokee, there is plenty of outside to explore. We are a dark park, all unnecessary lights are asked to be turned off during quiet hours. We offer a dedicated Astronomy area free of charge for all guests, you can bring your own equipment or just a pair of binoculars. There is a covered area with a picnic table seating at the edge of the starfield to relax or eat at, a fire pit for communal fires prior to the night stargazing (we ask that all exterior lights be off During Quiet Hours) so astronomy activities are not interrupted. White flashlights, headlamps, etc, are not to be used in the starfield (red light use only is allowed) unless absolutely necessary and only to set up equipment. NO DRIVE-THROUGHS ARE ALLOWED - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. - Only registered guests are allowed in the park, this is for the security, safety, and privacy of our customers as well as lessening the impact to park infrastructure. - All visitors must stop/report to the office (if the office is closed it is not okay to drive through the park), should you ignore this and are caught you will be asked to leave the campground and will be banned from future stays. - Remote control airplanes, cars, drones, etc are not allowed to be used in the guest accommodation areas. - Should you bring one and want to use it, ask permission and you may be able to use it in the Stargazing field so long as no astronomers are there or scheduled to be there. - This is for guests as well as their property and park personnel safety and noise disturbance. Cancellation Policy

Spot2Nite convenience fees are non-refundable - NO SHOWS ARE CHARGED THE ENTIRE RESERVATION AMOUNT. NO REFUNDS MADE FOR EARLY DEPARTURES or WEATHER - A cancellation fee of $40.00 will be charged on all Reservation Cancellations 30 days or more in advance. - If cancellation is within 30 days up to 72 hours of arrival the Full Deposit will be forfeited, ( based on the reason of cancellation we may allow up to 6 months to re-schedule stay and use the existing deposit). - Reservations canceled within 72 hours of arrival will be charged for all of the nights reserved. - Areas of the campground are being re-seeded into grass and wildflower pollinator gardens, they are easy to spot with either fresh dirt, vivid green grass, and vivid green plants, they may also have either caution tape or orange reflective markers surrounding them.
