We are a family-owned and operated campground and RV park located in the middle of North Carolina. This is our 36th year, we have had 4 generations involved in the campground. We offer a first-class facility with great amenities including an Olympic size pool with a large deck area and North Carolina's first Jumping Pillow that was installed in 2006, free Wifi, and 48 channel cable at RV/Pop-Up/Travel Trailer sites. Bring your rod and reel and try your luck in our fishing pond. We have a camp store with groceries, wood, ice, dip ice cream, and novelty ice cream, a laundry room, a game room, and a propane fill station. We are located 1/2 mile off Interstate 40 in the community of Cool Springs. Whether you are local to North Carolina or planning a vacation to our beautiful state, Midway Campground Resort is the perfect destination for family fun! We are located on 30 acres in the Piedmont area of North Carolina, a great location for you to use us as a base camp and make day trips to many of North Carolina's popular tourist locations close by.

Rules

One (1) family site, for example: mom, dad, and your unmarried children living at your home. Extended family members need to rent their own campsite unless there are beds in your camping unit to accommodate them. Example: Brothers, Sisters and their families, Parents, In-laws, etc. Example: your mom and dad can stay with you in your camper. If your brother and his family want to camp and set up a tent on your campsite, they need to rent their own site. We are a family campground, no groups of young adults under 21 be allowed without an adult in attendance. Reservations are suggested on weekends and holidays. The Holiday weekend of Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day require a three (3) day minimum. Lake Front (deluxe full hookup) and our Cabins require a two-night minimum on weekends from May 2nd to November 1st. Special Event weekends require a two-night stay (5/15-16, 9/19-20, 10/23-24, 10/30-31) on all sites. We make every effort to reserve the site type you request but we cannot guarantee specific sites. : The deposit of payment for the first night be charged to your credit card when you make your reservation. You'll receive a confirmation email once you've completed your reservation if you give your email during the online booking. Cash, check, a order may be used to secure your reservation. These forms of the deposit must be received within 7 days from the date the reservation is made or the reservation be canceled. RV/Tent Check-in: is between 3:00 pm and the time our store closes on the day of your arrival. RV/Tent Check-out: time is 1:00 pm on your departure day. Please check with our store by 10:30 am on your departure day to verify availability if you want to check out late after 1:00 pm (for an additional fee) as we may have a reservation coming in on your site at 3:00 pm. Cabins: check-in is 3:00 pm to our store closing, and check-out is 12:00 pm (noon) to allow cleaning before the next arrival. If there is damage to the cabin or excessive cleaning is needed after your stay the damages and cleaning fee be charged to your credit card used to pay for your stay. If the key is lost to the cabin during your stay a fee be charged to re-make a key. A Pet Fee of $10.00 dog be charged daily, only two dogs allowed with the understanding the dogs are not to be left unattended inside the cabin outside at the site, if you must leave the park dog must be put in a crate. Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable . (Cancellations made after these deadlines result in forfeiture of all paid). RV/Tent Sites: 48 hours required. Notify by 4:00 pm two days before your scheduled arrival date. Cabins: 14 days required. Notify two weeks before your scheduled arrival date. Holidays require a 30-day notice. Special Event Dates: A 14-day notice is required on all sites. These dates are special event weekends 5/15-16, 9/19-20, 10/23-24, 10/30-31. Holidays: Memorial day weekend requires a 30-day notice to cancel all site types (5/22-24). July 4th (7/3-5) and Labor day (9/4-6) weekends, RV/Tent sites a 14-day notice is required, Cabins require a 30-day notice. The notice must be made by phone call, not by email. No show or cancellations on the day of arrival result in a forfeit of the deposit. If your stay was paid for by a check a refund be given, if the check has cleared, (two weeks time). If less than two weeks a refund be mailed to you. All cancellations require a $5.00 cancellation fee. Firewood Policy: To comply with the NCDFR advisory against movement of firewood due to Emerald Ash Borer, NO FIREWOOD may be brought into the campground. It is offered for sale at our store. Thanks for your and understanding. Swimming Pool: Proper swimwear must be worn, no street clothes. Toddlers and babies must use a swim diaper. Please follow all posted rules. No Pets in the pool area, this is a North Carolina Health department law. No children under without adult. NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK. Visitors/Guests: A visitor/guest is any person arriving after the registered party has checked in. All visitors/guests be charged the visitors/guest fee. Overnight visitors/guests be allowed only if there is room within the registered host's camper/trailer/RV. All visitors/guests must leave by quiet time at night. We reserve the right to limit the number of persons occupying and/or visiting a site. Visitors/guests must display a vehicle pass given to them on their arrival. Visitors/guests are not permitted to bring pets. Please remember the registered camper must be present during the time the visitor/guest are in the campground. The registered camper is responsible for the behavior and actions of their visitors/guests. Midway Campground Resort is pet-friendly and welcomes campers who travel and their camping with the family dog and/ cat. However, to ensure all of our guests have a safe and enjoyable time, it is important that you read and abide by the following pet policy if you have a pet with you. -Pets are welcome but their owners must be well behaved!! ;) -There is no charge for your pet unless you are staying in our Cabins. -All dogs are required to be under the control and visual observation of their owner at all times if outside. -A six-foot (6') maximum length leash must be used whenever the dog is outside the owner's camping unit. -Do know that the NC Health Department Rules dictate NO PETS in the store, bathrooms, laundry, game room, recreation areas, and the pool area. -Dogs are not to be walked by children 6 years and under unless accompanied by an adult. -All pet owners are required to pick up all pet droppings on and off their site, seal it in a plastic bag and dispose of them in a trash can. Not picking up after your pet is a reason to be asked to leave the campground without refund. -Aggressive dogs of any breed are not welcome. If your dog shows behavior that is protective and unfriendly to strangers, please leave it home. If you decide to bring your dog and it exhibits this type of behavior the owner or manager ask you to find other camping accommodations. -Allowing your pet to bark uncontrollably day night not be permitted and you may be asked to leave if you are not able to control your pet's barking behavior. -Service dogs of any breed are welcome. However, these animals must follow the leash policies and may not exhibit aggressive behavior. -Pets must not be left outside unattended by their owners at any time. Dog kennels or crates are not permitted to be used outside the camping unit. Dogs must be inside your camper at night. -Pet's 20 lb. or less are permitted in our Cabins with a $10.00 per fee daily. Limit to 2 dogs. Damages to the inside or outside the Cabin, excessive cleaning and flea treatment be charged to your credit card. -We do have a new Pet Park located in the shade directly behind our Game Rooms. Doggy Pot trash bags and trash can are there for your needs in picking up after your dog. We also have a pet walk area in our field beside the mini-golf with Doggy Pot trash bags and trash can available for picking up after your dog. Our major insurance provider requirements are that we cannot accept breeds having a history of unfriendly and aggressive behavior to both other dogs and humans. These breeds identified by the insurance provider are Dobermans, Pitt Bulls, Rottweiler's, Chows, Wolfs, and mixes of any of these breeds. We encourage all dog owners to call in advance to inquire any specific rules that may apply to their situation. 855-882-7999 704-546-7615.
