Rules

KANSAS ROCKS CAMPGROUND RULES & REGULATIONS Park Rules: - Kansas Rocks Recreation Park (KRRP) is a free-use recreation park open to the public. - KRRP is not responsible for any bodily injury, death, and personal property damage incurred while on KRRP property. All visitors agree to indemnify and hold harmless KRRP and any affiliated board members for any acts within KRRP property. - Everyone enters at his or her own risk. - Failure to comply with the rules, regulations and safe operating procedures can result in being immediately ejected from the KRRP property and may not regain future access to the park. - In addition to Camping rules, all Park rules apply. Campground Rules: - Visitors arriving after the office closes need to sign a designated book left outside of the office, which includes a waiver, #of vehicles, vehicle tag, # of people on the campsite & site #. - The Trails Close at the posted park hours; after this time, you must remain in designated camping areas only. No 4-wheeling anywhere within the park will be allowed after this time. - The rock pile will be open until dark. - All visitors, campers, & vehicles must be registered while on park property. - Camping is permitted in designated areas only. Please supply your own firewood, and DO NOT leave fires unattended. Occasionally a burn ban is in place by the county, and please check with park staff before starting a fire. - Campfires are allowed in fire rings only. No open fires! DO NOT BURN TRASH. OR LEAVE IT IN A FIRE RING. - Do not relocate picnic tables or fire rings from other campsites. - Children must be accompanied by an adult while on the park premises. - Alcoholic beverages are only allowed after the park trails are closed and only in the camping area. Drinking while operating or riding in a motorized vehicle is prohibited. Alcohol is strictly prohibited on trails and rock piles. - Keep noise levels down. If adjacent campers can hear you, you are too noisy. No radios, boom boxes, or other noise-producing devices may be used in the campgrounds from 10 pm to 7 am. No generators in the primitive camping area. - Leave your campsite as clean as you found it. Bag your trash and leave it in the trash cans or in the dumpster. This includes cigarette butts and tobacco products. Pack out what you pack in. - No fireworks or explosives shall be allowed within the KRRP property. - All pets must be on a leash while on the park premises and are the owner’s sole responsibility for their actions in the park. No pets can be left unattended. - Disorderly conduct of any kind will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Campers who are evicted are not eligible for refunds. - The pavilion closes at 10 pm. - Dishes are washed only at designated exterior wash areas. - If not staying overnight campsite must be broken down by 1 pm. Fees: - $15/night up to 6 people per tent, $25/ 2 night, $35/ 3 night camping when available - No electricity or generators in the tent camping area - RV Parking is $40 per night or $60/2 nights, $75/3 nights with full electricity, 30 & 50 amp service. - RV is electric only. NO water and NO sewer. Check-in and other procedures: - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request. - Friday check-ins are not guaranteed before 8:00 p.m. Call ahead during regular park hours to ensure availability or reserve on the website. - Saturday and Sunday check-ins are not guaranteed before 3:00 p.m. - If there is an empty site without a reserved tag when you arrive, you may claim the site before checking in at the office. Do not set up camp before checking in when the office is open. - If arriving after office hours, sign in to the book on the shelf under the office window. Check in at the office when it opens the next morning. - If checking out on a day for which camping is available that evening, the campsite must be packed up and vacated by 1:00 p.m. This applies to most Saturdays and occasional Sundays. - If checking out on a day for which camping is unavailable that evening, the campsite must be packed up and vacated by the end of regular business hours. This applies to most Sundays and occasional Mondays. - Minimum of 2 nights camping on all long holidays. - Camping and RV parking will be available year-round when the park is open. However, the shower house will only be open from March 1st through November 31st.

Cancellation Policy

Campground Cancellation Policy - 100% refund until 7 days before check-in. 50% percent refund 3 days prior, then 2 days prior the reservation is no longer refundable. - All refund calculations exclude the RoverPass service fees and credit card processing, which are non-refundable. RoverPass Cancellation Policy - The platform and processing fees are non-refundable. - Spot2Nite convenience fees are non-refundable.
