Rules

Registration and Arrival Check-In Procedure - RV/Tent sites check-in is 2:00 P.M. - Cabin check-in is 3:00 P.M. - Upon arrival, please stop at the admission station to the right of the entrance gate. - The admission station is where you will pick up your welcome packet, wristbands, and complete any needed paperwork. - Please expect to put your wristband on at check-in. - Each guest is required to wear the wristband supplied during the check-in process. - Wristbands enable guests to enter the park and enjoy available amenities without additional charges. - Wristbands are non-transferable; lost bands are replaced at a cost of $15 each. – No exceptions. - Check-out time is 11:00 am - This applies to all site types and cabin rentals. - Please check out at the office prior to departure. - There are no refunds for early departures. - If you would like to extend your stay, please inform the office prior to 11:00 am. - Late check-out may be available for Tent/ RV site stays for a $25 fee (peak season) and a $15 fee (value season) to stay until 4:00 P.M., subject to availability. - Late check-out for cabin stays is not available. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Admission - All guests and visitors must register at the admission station prior to entering the park. - Unregistered persons will be considered trespassers and will be required to leave the grounds. - Registered guests shall be identified by wearing a park-issued wristband. - Day visitors may stay until 8:00 pm. - No visitors will be admitted after 8:00 pm. - Visitor fees apply. - One vehicle per site, parking pass required at all times. - Vehicles without a parking pass are subject to a tow without notice. - Additional cars may be permitted with an extra fee of $10.00 Arrivals - Plan to arrive prior to 8:30 PM. - Late arrivals past 8:45 pm may park in our parking lot across the street for the night and check in the next morning. - For safety reasons, no arrivals between 9 pm-9 am. - No exceptions. Quiet Hours - Quiet hours are observed from 11:00 pm until 8:00 am. - Please refrain from excessive noise during this time. - Minors are required to be at their campsite during this time or accompanied by an adult. Tent Site Policies - You may set up two tents per site. - Parking is in the designated tent parking area. - Parking/driving in the tent field area is strictly prohibited. - Vehicles parked in non-designated areas are subject to a tow without notice. RV Site Policies - Only RVIA-certified camping units are permitted. - Homemade or modified camping units are not permitted. - Tents are not permitted on RV sites. - “Buddy style” parking is only permitted in designated Buddy sites, no exceptions. - The camping unit must be positioned on the site to allow for the parking of your tow vehicle either in front of or behind the camping unit, no exceptions. - If this is not possible due to the size of your camping unit or tow vehicle, you will be required to park in the parking lot. - Parking in the grass area of the site is not permitted. - Vehicles parked in grass areas are subject to a tow without notice. - Tow vehicles must be disconnected prior to entering the campground. - Car dollies, utility trailers, and the like must be parked in the main parking lot. - Sewer connections must use a threaded or twist-lock connection. - Water connections must be leak-free. Cabin Policies - Bring your own pillows, blankets, bed linens, towels, health/beauty supplies, and food. - Lawn chairs are recommended for outdoor seating. - The cabins are equipped with a refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, microwave oven, basic pots/pans, dishes, and flatware. - All cabins have one queen bed and a set of twin mattresses. - The large and deluxe cabins are also equipped with a full-size sleeper sofa. - A picnic table, fire ring, and charcoal grill are provided outside. - Use designated cabin-specific parking spots only; vehicles parked in grass areas are subject to tow without notice. - Pets are prohibited in non-pet-friendly cabins and on the cabin site. - This will result in an automatic $200.00 fee, and the party will be asked to leave without a refund. - Do not smoke inside the cabin.​ - This will result in an automatic $200.00 fee, and the party will be asked to leave without a refund. - This also applies to medical cannabis usage. Cabin clean up - It is expected that the cabin will be returned to the state in which it was received when the guest checked in. - Dishes are to be washed, floors swept, and trash is taken to the dumpsters; excessive cleaning fees may apply for non-compliance. Prohibited - Illegal and recreational drug use is strictly prohibited. - No smoking within the pool gate. - Please see the employees for directions to our designated smoking location. - Outside firewood is not permitted to be brought into the park. - Firewood is available to purchase on-site by the bundle. - Compliance is with our local EPA/Health Department. - Unauthorized relocation of a fire ring will result in a $25 fine, charged to the site reservation holder. - Unauthorized trimming of trees or other willful/negligent damage from any person(s) from your site is grounds for immediate ejection from the park without refund. Golf Carts and Novelty Vehicles - These vehicles are prohibited unless rented from the park office. - Novelty vehicles include but are not limited to Gas/Electric ATVs, 4-wheelers, scooters, and remote-controlled toys. - Bicycles are permitted, and children are required to wear a helmet. - Bicycles used after dark must have an operable headlight and taillight. Speed Limit - The park-wide speed limit of 5 MPH. - Please observe the speed limit and all directional signs. Pool/Waterpark - You must present your wristband identification at the water park entrance each time you gain entry. - We are not able to open the water park if there are not enough staff, ongoing maintenance, or weather-related issues. - Please Park in the pool parking area across the street from the main gate. - An adult must always go with children under 13; do not drop them off. - Any children who are a continual distraction to the lifeguards because of their actions, attitude, misbehavior, or lack of regard for the safety of themselves or others will be asked to leave. - Should the behavior continue, they will lose all privileges at the park for the rest of their stay. - These rules also apply to friends and visitors of registered guests. - The pool reserves the right to adjust food and drink policy throughout the season. Waterpark Schedule - Jellystone Water Park is open starting May 23rd, 2025-August 17th, 2025, 11:00 am – 7:00 pm. - Tentatively, beginning August 18, pool hours will be adjusted to 4 pm-7 pm Monday-Friday, with normal operating hours of 11 am-7 pm on Saturday and Sundays. - Please check later in the season, as these dates are based on school start dates for our lifeguard staff. - Pool hours and days of access are subject to change at any time because of weather or lifeguard staffing. - The final day for the season will be September 1, 2025. Supervision - All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult in all areas of the campground (i.e., Clearwater Park Pool, the Activities Barn, the camp store, etc). Alcohol Policy - Alcohol is permitted at your campsite only, no other location(s). - Excessive drinking or intoxication is strictly prohibited. Weather - The pool will be cleared and may be closed in the event of lightning within a 10-mile radius or tornado warnings. - The pool may be closed for other reasons, including, but not limited to, power outages, mechanical failure, unsuitable weather conditions, i.e., rain, wind, and cool air temperatures. - All weather conditions are subject to interpretation by the General Manager. Pet Policy - Pets are permitted at your campsite, however, they must be on a leash and quiet. - Tethering pets to trees is prohibited. - For the protection and comfort of all of our guests, noisy, vicious, or unruly pets are not allowed. - Guests who are unable to control their pets must remove them from the premises. - Guests are responsible for “clean up” after their pets. - All pet droppings must be properly disposed of in a trash receptacle. - Pets must be kept on a maximum 6-foot leash at all times and under the control of their owner. - Pets may not be left outside unattended. - Pets are prohibited in Resort buildings, amenity areas, inside non-pet cabins, and at a cabin site. - The resort is not responsible for and will hold pet owners accountable for any injury or damage caused by pet(s). - In addition, the owner of a pet that causes injury or damage to others is expected to resolve the issue directly with the injured party. Occupancy Policy - Must be 21 years of age to rent a campsite. - Camping Rates for all site types are based on four (4) person occupancy. - All extra persons over the 4 allotted are $15/night/person, and daily visitors are $15/person. - Once a guest/day visitor has checked in to the site, extra guest and visitor fees become non-refundable. - No more than 8 people total (person camping & day visitors) per site. - All vehicles must have a car pass. - Only one (1) car per site, do not park on the grass. - Extra cars must park in the parking lot. Force of Nature - Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park™ Camp-Resort: Akron-Canton will not be liable for any change or cancellation of any reservation that is caused, in whole or in part, by events, occurrences, or causes beyond the control of Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park™ Camp-Resort: Akron-Canton. - Such events, occurrences, or causes include, without limitation: acts of God, terrorist activities, weather, strikes, lockouts, riots, acts of war, earthquakes, fire, and explosions. Rate/Reservation Validity - Reservation confirmations are provided to you solely for your convenience. - Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park™ Camp-Resort: Akron-Canton, with an address of 12712 Hoover Ave NW, Uniontown, OH 4468,5, and/or its affiliates or subsidiaries retain official records of reservation transactions, including details of dates of stay and site rates. In the event of discrepancies, alterations, modifications, or variations between this confirmation and our official records, our official records shall control. Photography/Videography - Entrance to the property constitutes permission for the management of Akron-Canton Jellystone to photograph or video record anyone while on-premises, and to use any resulting pictures/video for any lawful purpose without compensation to the individual. Notice to Guests - This property is privately owned. - The guest accepts camping privileges with the understanding that he/she does hereby release the Campground, its officers, and employees of all liability for loss or damage to property and injury to his/her person arising out of his/her use of its camping facilities, and agrees to indemnify the Campground, its officers and employees, against claims resulting from loss or damage to property, or injury to the person of any member of the family or guest of the registered camper arising out of the use of its camping facilities. - Guest agrees to follow all rules and policies of Akron-Canton Jellystone and accepts responsibility for the actions of the guests, visitors, extra people, or animals registered/attached to their reservation or to their site. - A signed hold harmless agreement and agreement to the park terms & conditions are required of each adult camper or guest that enters the park grounds. - The parent or legal guardian is required to complete a hold harmless agreement for minor children accompanying them. - The officers and employees of the Campground reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone not completing the required forms. - This form may be completed during check-in or in advance, utilizing links in your confirmation email or from our website, akroncantonjellystone.com Conduct - Please remember that we are a family-friendly resort and that appropriate language, behavior, and attire should be observed at all times. - We reserve the right to maintain a family-friendly atmosphere and reserve the right to eject anyone without prior notice who, in our judgment, creates a disturbance or nuisance, or deliberately breaks the policies stated above. - Failure to comply with the policies of the park, verbal or physical abuse of any employee by any person(s) in your party or group will not be tolerated. - No refunds are issued in such an event. Akron/Canton Jellystone Gate Policy - One vehicle per site - $15.00 Charge for vehicle to pass through the gate! - One gate card per site. - A parking pass is required for vehicles parked at the site - Gate card required for re-entry after 9:00 P.M., or when the gate attendant is not on duty. - The gate card may not be given to other guests or visitors. - The gate card must be returned upon checkout. - Park only at your assigned site. - Vehicles without parking passes are subject to being towed without notice at the owner’s expense

Cancellation Policy

Campground Cancellation Policy - Cancellations made two weeks prior to the scheduled arrival date are eligible for a full refund, minus an administrative fee of $30.00 - Cancellations made less than two weeks prior to the scheduled arrival date are eligible for a full refund, minus an administrative fee of $40.00 - Cancellations made up to 7 days before non-holiday arrivals or 14 days on holiday/special weekends will be offered a refund, less a $30 processing fee. - Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to arrival are not eligible for a refund but may be offered resort credit, less a $30 processing fee. - Resort credit is valid until October of the following season. - Please note that camping is inherently an outdoor experience. - Therefore, we do not provide credits or refunds due to natural discomforts or early departures, including situations arising from non-compliance with campsite or resort policies. - The fun continues, rain or shine. - All Spot2Nite reservations require payment in full at the time of booking. - Please contact Spot2Nite to cancel a reservation via email to [email protected] or call (877)778-2683, Option 1. - Spot2Nite convenience fees and credit card processing fees are non-refundable.
