GTL Paris RV Park

Paris, Texas

6 RV Sites

In the rolling Blackland Prairie country of northeastern Texas, GTL Paris RV Park delivers a clean, well-equipped stop in the distinctive city of Paris, Texas—a city that wears its borrowed Parisian identity with a Texas-sized sense of humor and a surprising amount of genuine historical character. Located with easy highway access in Lamar County, the park serves both overnight travelers and those settling in for extended stays, with full hookup pull-through sites, secure storage, and practical amenities that make it a dependable choice in a part of Texas often overlooked by travelers focused on bigger cities. All sites offer full hookup service with 30 and 50-amp options on concrete pads, with pull-through configurations suited to rigs of any length. High-speed fiber optic WiFi—upgraded in 2022—provides reliable connectivity for remote workers and streaming guests alike. Laundry facilities, hot showers, restrooms, and a dump station handle standard practical needs, while an on-site laundromat with 24-hour access adds extra convenience. A dog park, lighted cornhole, ping pong tables, and 10 security cameras throughout the property speak to a park that takes both guest comfort and property security seriously. RV storage is available for guests who spend time in the Paris area between trips. Northeast Texas occupies a landscape of its own—broader, hillier, and more wooded than the stereotypical Texas plains, with the Red River bottom and the Piney Woods beginning to assert themselves on the eastern horizon. Lake Crook, a community reservoir on the north side of Paris, offers bass and catfish fishing in a quiet lake setting that provides the nearest convenient outdoor recreation option. The surrounding Blackland Prairie is particularly vibrant in the spring when wildflowers carpet the roadsides and the fields before the summer heat settles in. The region's agricultural traditions run deep, with row crops, cattle, and hay production defining much of the visible countryside. Paris, Texas punches above its weight in terms of historical and cultural interest. The city's most famous landmark is its own Eiffel Tower replica—complete with a red cowboy hat—which has been greeting visitors since 1993 and makes for an obligatory photo stop. The Samuel Bell Maxey House State Historic Site preserves the Victorian-era home of a Confederate general and US Senator and offers guided tours with strong regional history content. The Valley of the Caddo Museum and the Lamar County Historical Museum provide additional depth for history-minded visitors, and the Red River Valley Veterans Memorial honors the military service of the region's residents. GTL Paris RV Park is open year-round and serves both destination travelers making a deliberate Paris, Texas stop and I-82 corridor travelers using the park as a convenient overnight in northeastern Texas. Monthly rates make it a viable home base for longer-term guests with work or family connections to the area. Whether you're here to photograph the cowboy-hat Eiffel Tower, explore the Caddo history of northeastern Texas, fish Lake Crook, or simply pass through in comfort, GTL Paris RV Park keeps the experience clean, connected, and uncomplicated. Book a site and see what this corner of Texas has to offer.
