RV There Yet? (Formerly Cruise Inn & RV Parks)
Alexandria, Minnesota
40 RV Sites
3.02 reviewsPositioned off I-94 in Alexandria, Minnesota—roughly halfway between Minneapolis and Fargo—RV There Yet (formerly Cruise Inn & RV Parks) serves as both a strategic interstate waypoint and a genuine basecamp for exploring Alexandria's well-known chain of lakes, golf courses, and downtown attractions. The park's location in west-central Minnesota's Otter Tail and Douglas County lake region gives it immediate access to the outdoor character that draws visitors to this part of the state throughout the summer season.
The park offers 40 spacious lots measuring 30 by 70 feet, providing generous dimensions for larger RVs and trailers navigating the busy I-94 corridor. Site amenities include campfire rings, and the park is equipped with free Wi-Fi, 24-hour assistance, and pet-friendly policies that accommodate the full range of traveling companions. A basketball court, horseshoe pits, and a fish-cleaning house address the practical needs of sport-focused guests, while a communal game room stocked with board games, a lending library, bumper pool, and table football gives the community a social gathering space for evenings in camp.
Alexandria's lake district is defined by a chain of more than 100 lakes concentrated in the surrounding county—a density of freshwater access that supports fishing, boating, swimming, and paddling across a broad season from ice-out in spring through early fall. The park's location one block from a dedicated bike trail provides a direct connection to the area's developing recreational path network, and the rolling, wooded terrain surrounding Alexandria's lake system gives the region a distinct visual character compared to the flatter agricultural landscape of the broader region.
Carlos Creek Winery, one of Minnesota's most-visited wineries, is a short drive from the campground and provides a popular afternoon excursion with wine tastings, music events, and vineyard views that reflect the agricultural character of west-central Minnesota. The Runestone Museum in Alexandria explores the area's regional history, including the famous Kensington Runestone—a controversial Norse artifact that draws visitors curious about its historical authenticity. Alexandria's downtown shopping and dining district is within easy reach of the park for evening outings.
RV There Yet is open through the warm-weather season, with summer representing peak demand as the lake chain's water activities and regional festivals draw visitors from across Minnesota and the Dakotas. Advance reservations are recommended for July and August, when the park's position between Minneapolis and Fargo makes it a popular stop for cross-state travelers as well as destination guests spending multiple nights to explore the Alexandria lakes area. Alexandria's position in the heart of the Minnesota lake district—a landscape shaped by repeated glacial action that left behind hundreds of kettle lakes, wooded drumlins, and fertile farmland—gives the region a pastoral outdoor character that rewards guests who take time to explore beyond the interstate. The area's golf courses, many positioned along lake shores with water-view fairways, attract golfers during the summer season and extend the activity options for guests not focused primarily on fishing.

This is a grassy lot where people park and sleep- there is no atmosphere or campground. Lots of stores and food in the area. Is fine for a night stop on your way someplace else but wouldn’t stay for long.

There was nothing special about the rv park. It provided us a place to park and spend the night. Since we registed online we never met anyone associated with the park.
