We at Cedarlane are pleased to have you as guests and know that lots of fun are to be had at the park! Please familiarize yourself and your guests with the Rules and Regulations to ensure a positive camping experience for all. Why do we have a long list of rules? Because it is not uncommon for Cedarlane’s 22-acre park to host 75 dogs, 1 adults and children, 200 bicycles, and 250 vehicles. Without rules, there would be chaos. So, to avoid confusion and frustration, please review the following and please let us know if you have any questions! Rules & regulations may be subject to change without notice. PARK INFO The park billing address is listed above. Please do not use the campground’s address to receive personal items unless arrangements have been made in advance. In addition to the website, current information can be found on our Facebook or Instagram page. The park is open from May 1st until October 15th and offers both seasonal and transient camping for tents, RVs, and cabin/park model rentals. We are a family-owned business that is passionate to provide fun to the families who camp at our park. Please see the large bulletin board for area information and park information or the board next to the store for the current event/activities schedule. CAMP STORE Store hours may vary before and after the peak season, but it is typically open until 10 pm (see posted hours). We offer a wide variety of convenient items, snacks, toiletries, toys, gifts, souvenirs, and Cedarlane merchandise. The snack bar offers, specialty coffees, snacks, pizza, slushies, and hand-dipped ice cream. We also have a propane fill station and sell firewood by the bundle or tractor bucketful. POOL AREAS The heated pools are open from Memorial Weekend until Labor Day weekend. Hours are 10 am until 10 pm, weather depending. We offer a wading pool, an adult pool (ages 18 and up), and a family pool with an adjacent playground. All pool users must acquire a wristband from store personnel daily and wear proper swim attire. Access to these pools is included for those listed on a seasonal or transient campsite reservation. Any registered guests not listed on a reservation can purchase a pool pass. See Additional Services for pricing. All pool areas prohibit smoking, glass bottles, and pets. No lifeguard is on duty – swim at your own risk. We recommend that all people, especially children, swim accompanied. Cedarlane staff reserves the right to deny pool access to anyone or vacate the pool area(s) for any reason. An emergency phone is located under the covered patio at the store. BOATS & FISH CLEANING The assign a boat storage space for an additional fee and give you a tag to put on the trailer near the hitch. Watercraft and storage trailers are not permitted at your site. The fish cleaning area is for registered guests only. Fish waste must be in tied bags and disposed of in the fish FREEZER – no fish waste is to go in the park dumpsters. Please do not clean fish at your site. VISITORS Cedarlane reserves the right to limit the number of guests and/or vehicles in the park or to a site. Visitors may be registered only during the posted Store Hours—please make your guests aware of this policy. We ask that you pre-register your guests with the as personnel not permit entrance for visitors if we do not have prior permission. Either meet your guest in the to register them, call ahead. All visitors must park in overflow parking areas and abide by campground rules and procedures. Guest fees may apply and do not include pool access. See Pool Areas for more information. VEHICLES & ROADWAYS Cedarlane not be held responsible for accidents. Drivers must use caution and maintain the 5mph speed limit. All vehicles must have an up-to-date Cedarlane car pass or sticker visibly posted on the lower right corner of the vehicle’s windshield. A gate card may be assigned to any camper on your reservation or agreement who pays a deposit for the card. Do not allow others to use your card, even if they have one that isn’t working—there is a reason it is invalid. Misuse of the card may result in the termination of your reservation or agreement. Past due balances result in management voiding all cards and access to the pools until the balance is paid in full. Golf Carts are no longer permitted. The existing golf carts are permitted on a part-time basis. They may not be transferred to another owner site. Allowing other campers to use your golf cart result in immediate removal of the cart without refund of the golf cart fee and may result in termination of your reservation. There is a separate Golf Cart Policy that registered campers receive at the beginning of every season. The golf cart may not be used until this policy is signed and filed with the along with proof of insurance. RESTROOM & SHOWER The public restroom and shower are located throughout the park. They are maintained regularly by grounds staff; however, if something needs immediate attention, please notify the and we address it. PARK TRASH DUMPSTERS Located at the front entrance and next to the fish cleaning building, these dumpsters are for day-to-day trash only. Large items, chemicals, light bulbs, batteries, etc are not to be disposed of on our dumpsters. Any landscaping brush should not be disposed of in our dumpsters, please pile it along the road at your site and notify the . They make arrangements for our grounds crew to remove it for you. YOUR CAMPSITE Each seasonal campsite is furnished with 1 picnic table. Burn rings and grills are not provided but are permitted – please do not take them from other sites. It is your responsibility to bury your water and electric lines just below the surface from the camper to the pedestal and to hard plumb your sewer hookup. We highly recommend you turn off the electricity and water in between stays. We not be held responsible for any damage caused by electric or water outages. The electric grid, including but not limited to meters, is only to be accessed by Cedarlane personnel. Any tampering may be cause for immediate termination of your Campsite Use Agreement. Gray and/or black water cannot be discharged onto the ground. It must be collected in a covered container and emptied in the park’s dump stations. Individual gravel pits for drainage are not permitted. Please keep all vehicles and personal items confined to your site. State Regulation does not allow tents larger than 4’ by 5’ on your site. Please approve tents with the and obtain a tent tag. All campsites are provided with site #’s to meet criteria specified by the State. Please make sure these site numbers remain visible at all times. All changes additions made outside of your RV must first be submitted to the on a Site Alteration Form and approved by management. Any installations that cause damage to campground property, including utilities, be repaired at your expense. When submitting a form for a new RV, be sure to attach a spec with actual dimensions and amperage requirements. We mow where the mower can easily pass, but all other areas and trimming on your site is your responsibility. If your site is in need of trimming, as deemed by management, you be notified in advance. If you do not trim your site by the time given, we take a picture for your file, trim your site, and invoice your account. See Additional Services for pricing. YOUR RV All units entering the park for the first time must be less than 15 years old and/or approved by management. It is your responsibility to maintain the appearance of your RV. Management complete routine Site Appearance Audits and reserves the right to deem any unit unacceptable and require it to be maintained, upgraded, removed. This awnings, sheds, decks, general site appearance, etc. YOUR CHILDREN Cedarlane is a family park and we love kids! Please teach your children to respect other campers’ sites and personal property. This not tampering with electric and water connections and respecting campground property and equipment. We recommend that an adult guardian accompany young children at all times. The boat lot, fish cleaning area, burn pile, retention pond, stone pile, and other areas are to be avoided at all times. The roads can get very busy, so please make sure your children respect roadways and vehicles. Racing, tailgating, chasing, and cutting in front of cars is dangerous and may result in an accident. By 11 pm, all children must be with their parent guardian at their site. We have scheduled activities every weekend from Memorial Weekend until Labor Day weekend. Please see the activities board located by the store or follow on Facebook for current information. YOUR PETS We reserve the right to declare any animal a nuisance and require immediate removal. All pets must be registered with the . We highly recommend that you do not leave your pets unattended. In the event of a power outage, your pet may be seriously injured if left alone inside your RV. Owners must clean up after their pets, including the pet run areas. Leash lengths must confine the pet to your site (restraints such as invisible fences and in-ground stakes are not permitted). The Health Dept prohibits pets in all pool/playground areas and in all public . YOUR SECURITY Quiet hours are 11 pm until 8 am, but courtesy hours are 24/7 and noise should be confined to your site at all times. Security staff is scheduled until 2 am on weekends from Memorial Day through Labor Day. For any minor security issues or complaints, please call security at 567-482- 1047; the phone be answered when security is on duty. For major security issues/complaints, please call the Ottawa County Sheriff’s at 419-734-4404 9-1-1. For the privacy and safety of other guests, the use of drones is strictly prohibited. We not allow any visitors to enter the park as your visitor without your consent. See the Park Information & Procedures for more information. YOUR ACCOUNT BILLING Cedarlane’s POS system email you a link to your account where you may view your invoices and make payments. This system also email you when an invoice is posted, along with a link to pay it. If you do not have an email, you need to contact the on the 1st of each month for a bill or to request a bill to be mailed. The billing cycle runs from the 1st of the month to the end of the month. Balances not paid by the 10th of the following month accrue a 2% monthly late fee. Accounts more than 30 days past due be notified and may result in termination of your Campsite Use Agreement. We provide an AutoPay service that automatically charge the balance due to your credit card on the day it is due. Seasonal guests whose accounts are in good standing are permitted to charge store purchases on account (please let the know if your children are permitted to charge.) Electric meters are read at the end of the month and billed at the total cost per kWh that we are billed by Ohio Edison. By August 1st, we have renewal paperwork prepared for qualifying guests. Please be aware that seasonal camping rates increase year to year. Be sure to make a copy of your payment plan as invoices not be sent. This property is privately owned. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and not be held responsible for accidents, injuries, or loss of valuables. Reservations for use of our park are non-transferable and there are no refunds for unused camping nights. Check-in is between 1 pm and 10 pm. Check out is by noon, when all park services are no longer available. -If you have any special needs or requirements, please inform the so we may accommodate you. All guests comply with all Park Rules and Regulations and COVID19 Camping Guidelines & Regulations as posted in the and on the grounds. While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement.

Cancellation Policy

Spot2Nite booking fees are non-refundable. Cancellations with at least 7 days advance notice may be charged a $10/site $30/ cancellation fee. Cancellations with less than 7 days' notice No Shows may receive no refund.
