Capitol Reef RV Park & Glamping
Teasdale, Utah
5.01 reviews
Capitol Reef RV Park & Glamping offers one of the most rewarding natural positions in Utah's canyon country — tucked between the Boulder and Thousand Lake Mountains in Teasdale, just ten minutes from the entrance to Capitol Reef National Park and two miles from the small gateway community of Torrey. For travelers who want to immerse in southern Utah's red-rock landscape without sacrificing a comfortable base, this Capitol Reef RV park and glamping destination is genuinely hard to match.
Spacious RV sites with level gravel pads, 50-amp electrical service, water, and sewer connections accommodate larger rigs with ease, and each site comes with a picnic table and fire pit for evening use. The resort's A-frame glamping cabins are a standout accommodation option — offering an intimate cabin experience in the midst of Utah's high-desert scenery. A brand-new bathhouse, laundromat, modern clubhouse, and dedicated dog park round out the on-site amenities, all maintained to an exceptionally high standard. Pets are welcome throughout the property.
The landscape surrounding the resort ranks among the most visually striking in the American Southwest — the Waterpocket Fold's sweeping monocline formation defines Capitol Reef National Park's western horizon, and the plateau and canyon terrain shifts color dramatically from sunrise through sunset. After dark, Teasdale sits in one of Utah's true dark sky zones, where the Milky Way appears with a clarity that stops guests in their tracks.
Capitol Reef National Park features Hickman Bridge, a 133-foot natural arch reachable on a moderate two-mile hike, along with the Fremont Petroglyphs, the Capitol Gorge route, and the remote Cathedral Valley's towering sandstone monoliths. ATV trails on Boulder Mountain provide direct off-road exploration from the resort area, and Fishlake National Forest and Anasazi State Park Museum are within an hour's drive for expanded regional discovery.
Capitol Reef RV Park & Glamping is open through the spring, summer, and fall seasons, with the shoulder months of April, May, September, and October delivering the most comfortable temperatures for canyon exploration. Summer canyon days run hot by midday — early-morning hikes are strongly advisable. Book A-frame cabins and premium RV sites well in advance for any May through September stay, as the combination of park access, glamping quality, and exceptional stargazing makes this one of Utah's most sought-after canyon country campgrounds.

Absolutely beautiful RV Resort, which the cleanest bathrooms. We were there end of April and it happened to snow. The bathrooms were so beautiful, clean, and very warm. Loved how the heater and lights turned on when I walked in. The campsites were very spacious and clean. Cant wait to go glamp there again!
