4.01 reviews
Looking for camping near Lake Coeur d’Alene that feels wild but still close to town? Camp Coeur d’Alene delivers. Tucked into Wolf Lodge Bay, this destination campground gives you the kind of peaceful, wooded vibe you'd expect way off the grid—except you’re only 15 minutes from downtown. Whether you’re in a tent, a cabin, or one of the terraced RV sites (up to 40'), everything’s spaced out so you can actually enjoy the quiet. Wake up to the sound of birds and drink your coffee with a lake view. Then hop in a kayak or paddleboat, hike the nearby trails, or take a quick drive to explore Tubbs Hill Nature Trails or the Mineral Ridge Scenic Area—both offer killer lake overlooks. Feeling ambitious? Hit the Hiawatha Trail for one of the most scenic bike rides in the Northwest. Back at camp, unwind by the fire, take a dip in the pool, or just chill under the stars. Camp Coeur d’Alene is a perfect base for unplugging, playing outside, and soaking up Idaho.

The pool was in and out of commission the whole week we were there. The staff is absolutely super friendly and the bathrooms are impeccably clean! The mosquitoes were a bit of a pain come sundown but nothing you can do about that.
