Blue Dog RV Park in Amarillo, TX, offers 14 full-hookup RV sites with 20, 30, and 50-amp service and room for rigs up to 72 feet.
Sites come in two categories, back-in 30/50-amp and pull-thru 30/50-amp, each carrying water, sewer, and electric. The park is rated big rig friendly and the 72-foot maximum on the pull-thrus takes a long coach with a toad — no unhitching after a day on the road. Pets are welcome.
There's no recreation program here, and the park doesn't need one: it's the closest full-service RV park to Palo Duro Canyon, and guests spend their days in the canyon rather than on the grounds.
Palo Duro is 15 minutes out — 120 miles long and 800 feet deep, carved by the Prairie Dog Town Fork of the Red River through the Panhandle caprock, and the second-largest canyon system in the country.

- Pets must be on a leash and cleaned up after, no aggressive breeds.
Vehicles Policy
- Pull-through can have 2 additional vehicles. Back in can have 1 additional vehicle. All vehicles must be operational. Vehicles must not protrude from the RV site into the flow of traffic. No parking on grass
Cancellation Policy

- 100% refund until 14 days before check-in. 50% percent refund 7 days prior, then 6 days prior the reservation is no longer refundable.
- All refund cancellations exclude the RoverPass service fees and credit card processing, which are non-refundable.
RoverPass Cancellation Policy
- The platform and processing fees are non-refundable.
- Spot2Nite convenience fees are non-refundable.
