Aspen Ridge RV Park

About

Aspen Ridge has been a part of the South Fork and Upper Rio Grande community for many years. Providing an inviting environment for guests, family, and friends. Nestled between Mineral and Rio Grande Counties, South Fork is surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the Rio Grande National Forest and the Weminuche Wilderness. Aspen Ridge provides a centralized location providing easy access to the Rio Grande River, South Fork events, shopping, and eating. You can also stay in and catch a game of dominoes, sign up for a bean bag tournament, or hang out on the deck and hear stories about the catch of the day. We also like to share our recipes at the potlucks we have either inside or at The Tin Top Cafe. Be sure to bring your place setting…Everyone is ALWAYS welcome! We hope you will come to discover the friendliest park in town. There is no better community to be a part of. -The Aspen Ridge RV Park Family

Rules

- Aspen Ridge RV Park Guidelines were established to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and maintenance, with a “Good Neighbor Policy” in mind. Since every contingency cannot be covered in a set of rules, from time to time, modification may be necessary. Your compliance is very much appreciated and will ensure a pleasant stay for all guests. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. - FOR SAFETY AND DUST the Speed Limit throughout the park is 5 mpg – Thank You! - WILDLIFE Safety First! Please bring birdseed, hummingbird feeders, and trash cans in at night. Do not store food outside or in coolers. Bird Seed Feeders are allowed but the ground area needs to be kept clean around them. Do not throw food items on the ground (slices of bread, eggshells) or other food items because it attracts bears, coyotes, mountain lions, mice, chipmunks, etc. - FISH CLEANING: We provide an area for you to clean your catch. All skins, bones, and guts must be double-bagged and placed in a lined bucket in the refrigerator. Gutbucket is disposed of on trash day, this helps with the aroma of fish guts from being smelled by the bears. Help keep the fish cleaning station clean and wash down with spray disinfectant. Happy fishing! - TRASH is located by the storage shed by the office Break down all cardboard boxes before throwing them away. Please place the bear bars back in their slots on the trash dumpster. Do not leave trash outside the dumpsters or outside at your campsite. - PET POLICY: All guests with pets need to register their pets and agree to the park Pet Guidelines at check-in. Compliance is mandatory. Click here to read our Pet Guidelines. - CANNABIS POLICY: Aspen Ridge RV Park has a strict “No Cannabis Use” policy that is strictly enforced. Public consumption, use, display, transfer, sale, or growth is strictly prohibited on Aspen Ridge RV Park property. Guests will be asked to leave the park if complaints are reported by other Aspen Ridge RV Park guests. - HUNTING or SHOOTING: weapons and fireworks of any kind are prohibited. - INTOXIFICATION: Public intoxication will not be tolerated and will be handled by the local town police department. - FIRE BANS, GRILLS, FIRE PITS: Please check at the office for local fire bans in effect before lighting your grill or the community fire pits. Grills should not be left unattended. We have two fire-pits in the park for guests to enjoy a relaxed evening. Fire pits need to be extinguished with water each time they are lit. If you light the fire pit, you are responsible to ensure it is put out. Sorry, we do not allow wood fire pits at individual guest sites. - SITE BOUNDARIES are between electric pedestals, yours and your neighbor. Slides and awnings cannot intrude into your neighbor's site. Please make sure your camper is parked correctly prior to setting up rugs, awnings, etc. Strings on the ground are not site boundaries, they are to assist with tires alignment and backing in straight when parking in the site. - INTERNET: We located in a mountain rural area; our WiFi is not high speed, is limited around the park, can be shielded by RV’s, and is impacted by usage which is heavier in the evenings. The Club House is the main WiFi hotspot, complimentary WiFi hotspots are provided around the park, however, we do not guarantee Wi-Fi access at every site. If your internet needs are for personal employment, gaming, video chat (skype, face time) Netflix, FireStick, Hulu, etc. please provide your own hot spot device. For local internet options, please inquire at the office. - CLUBHOUSE: This area is for the use of all guests. Guests using the Clubhouse need to clean up after themselves after each use. If you use the stove or oven, please clean/wipe it down after each use. The refrigerator and freezer are reserved for food items for potlucks. It is not for guest personal use. The Clubhouse can be reserved for special events if arranged ahead of time through the office, preferably a week’s notice. Common areas may be temporarily closed for private functions, please observe all closed signs as posted. - PARKING: We ask that all guests park only ONE vehicle or ATV/UTV at their site.
