4K Red River is our family of lodging businesses in the town of Red River. We operate the River Ranch and our 4K View property. We're located in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains (the southern Rockies) of northern New Mexico at about 8750 feet. We're off the beaten path but also a terrific base camp to a region of multi-cultural experiences and recreation. Our 17-acre campground borders the Carson National Forest, whose main attractions are Red River Ski Area– family fun skiing and summer activities, and Taos Ski Valley- legendary and steep! Red River is home to some big time special events and music festivals, horseback riding, wilderness hiking, fishing, old mining road ATV roving, whitewater rafting, cross country skiing, downhill skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and old-fashioned family fun activities at Red River Community House.

The Big Simple Rules -We reserve the right to deny access to our park if the ranch rules are not followed or if you are not courteous. If the rules are not followed after a warning you will be asked to leave and not invited back. -The speed limit is 5 mph. Kids are playing! -Pets are welcome. Do not leave them unattended, so they will not bark. Pets must be on a leash at all times outside of RV, cabins, apartments, or 4K View. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. -One RV per site. Overflow parking for extra vehicles is available. First-come-first-served until the lot is full. -No tent camping allowed in any area of the campground. No tents on the ground of any kind. Not even attached to a camper. No sleeping in any vehicle that has not been converted for camping. -Two fish limit per guest, per day, catch and keep only. Do not release any fish. Always clean fish at your site and dispose of guts in the locking dumpsters, NOT in the pond. -Office hours vary according to season. Our summer season office hours are every day from 9 am to 6 pm. Our winter season office hours are every day from 9 am to 5 pm. -Our white towels are only for indoor bathroom use: your credit card on file will be charged in the event of undue soiling or stains. -Fire rings are for wood ONLY! A $20 cleaning fee will be charged if trash is left in them. Fires are allowed in fire rings only and must be extinguished every time you leave your site. No moving the fire rings. No fires on the day of departure. -Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am. Check-out is 10:00 am for apartments, cabins, and the View. No late check-outs for any structures. Check-out for RVs is 11:00am. If you need to check out later than 10:00 am, notify the office no later than 9:00 am of your departure day. (dependent upon site/structure availability and housekeeping). Relax and enjoy. -Love your neighbors, and be kind. -Walking through others RV sites is NOT permitted. Please be a courteous walk around! -While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement.
All reservations are bound by these policies. A deposit of 20% is required when making your reservation. Payment of any balance is due upon check-in. Credit cards or cash are accepted. You may check-in as early as 12 pm. Check-out time is 11 am. There are no refunds for late arrivals or early departures. Your reservation is made for the exact length of stay and number of persons as stated, including children age 5 and over. There is no charge for children under age 5. The base rate is for either a 2 or 4-person occupancy depending upon the type of property/site. There is a maximum of 6 people per RV site. There is also an additional charge per person for each night's stay of $7.50. Structures (apartments, cabins, and houses) have a set price and occupancy limit, from 2-10 people. If you must cancel your reservation, we will refund 80% of your deposit if we are notified at least 30 days ahead of your arrival (we keep a 20% handling charge). No refund will be issued if we are notified less than 30 days prior to your arrival. All cancelled reservations must be in writing, by fax, email, and/or verbal telephone notification. This policy applies to NON-HOLIDAYS only! Seasonal Stays (a 4-and-a-half-month stay beginning June 1 and ending Columbus Day Monday): A non-refundable payment deposit of $350 is required when making your reservation. $2,000 is due February 1, and the remainder is upon check-in. If you must cancel your seasonal stay, we will refund 80% of your deposit if we are notified at least 30 days ahead of your arrival on June 1 (we keep a 20% handling charge). No refund will be issued if we are notified less than 30 days prior to your arrival. All cancelled reservations must be in writing, by fax, email, and/or verbal telephone notification. To rent an RV site, apartment, cabin, or the View you must be a minimum of 25 years of age. HOLIDAYS Reservations for these holidays and special event times must be made and paid in full at the time of booking: -the week of Memorial Day -the second and third week of March -the week of the 4th of July -the week of Labor Day -the week of Thanksgiving -the week of Christmas -the week of New Year's -or during Special Events Holiday Bookings are NON-REFUNDABLE when booked. When booking online, we will collect a 20% deposit and then charge your card on file for the remainder of your balance within 24-48 hours. REFUNDS No refunds for late arrivals, early departures, adverse weather, global incidents, or national health crises. No refunds for the holiday or special event reservations. See refund policy on seasonal stays above. Allow up to 30 days for your refund to be processed after notification. Spot2Nite convenience fees are non-refundable. CHANGES TO YOUR RESERVATION We are happy to assist you with reservation changes at any time. If changes are made 30 days or more from the date of your arrival that result in a reduction in the number of days of your planned stay, you are NOT responsible for the removed day(s). If you are within 30 days of your arrival and reduce the days of your stay, you ARE responsible for the removed days(s). Special Events and holiday reservations are non-refundable. If you would like to extend your stay while already on-site, renew your site reservation by 9:00 am on your scheduled departure day at the office. This is subject to site availability.
