- While fishing from this pier (located at #3 on the site map), guests do not need to purchase their Virginia saltwater license.
- However, guests must register annually for the Virginia Fisherman Identification Program.
- This is a free state program used to collect contact information annually for everyone who fishes recreationally in the country’s salt waters.
- All those sixteen years of age or above without their Virginia saltwater license must possess their identification number from the Virginia Fisherman Identification Program to prove registration, as required by state law.
