Southbound RV Park and Cabins

Victoria, Texas

49 RV Sites

Southbound RV Park and Cabins provides a full-service camping destination on the outskirts of Victoria, Texas — a crossroads city where the agricultural plains of South Texas, the river country of the Guadalupe and San Antonio River watersheds, and the Texas Gulf Coast converge within an easy hour's drive. On 58 well-maintained acres with 49 full-hookup RV sites and 19 fully furnished cabins, Southbound delivers the amenities and setting that make rv park Victoria TX guests feel they've found a genuinely well-considered home base in the heart of the Coastal Bend. Full hookup sites include water, electric, and sewer for all rig configurations, and all 19 cabins come furnished with full kitchens, one or two bedrooms, a living area, bathroom, and a covered porch — the kind of standalone lodging that works equally well for a long weekend and an extended stay. A playground, covered gazebo, laundry facilities, on-site propane, a general store, and clean modern restrooms round out the practical amenities across the 58-acre property. Pets are welcome throughout Southbound RV Park and Cabins. The South Texas landscape around Victoria is defined by the coastal prairie and river bottomland ecology that makes this part of the state remarkably productive for wildlife. White-tailed deer, wild turkey, and the impressive winter concentrations of waterfowl following the river corridors south toward the Gulf are regular presences in the surrounding countryside, and the broad agricultural character of Goliad and Victoria counties lends the area a quietly scenic quality that South Texas devotees know well. The Guadalupe River, accessible within the Victoria area, is one of Texas's most historically significant waterways — winding through limestone terrain upstream and fertile coastal plains downstream before emptying into San Antonio Bay. Coleto Creek Reservoir, about 20 miles west, provides boating and fishing in a regional park setting popular with Victoria-area families. Goliad State Park and Mission Espíritu Santo, 30 miles southwest, is one of Texas's most evocative historic sites — a restored Spanish colonial mission adjacent to Presidio La Bahía, where the Goliad Massacre of 1836 is woven permanently into the state's revolutionary history. Port Lavaca and the Matagorda Bay shoreline are roughly an hour south for a Gulf Coast fishing and beach day. Southbound RV Park and Cabins is open year-round, and Victoria's location gives it a genuinely mild climate through the fall, winter, and spring months that makes it especially appealing during the Texas shoulder seasons. The combination of affordable full-hookup RV sites, well-appointed furnished cabins, and central South Texas positioning makes it a natural stop for anyone working between San Antonio, Corpus Christi, and the Gulf Coast.
