Mascoma Lake Campground

Lebanon, New Hampshire

3 RV Sites, 2 Cabins, 2 Tent Sites, 1 House, 2 Tiny Houses

On the eastern shore of Mascoma Lake in Lebanon, New Hampshire's Upper Valley region, Mascoma Lake Campground delivers a private sandy beach, full hookup RV sites, cabins, tiny homes, an A-Frame house, and the exceptional recreational access of a five-mile lake that provides swimming, boating, fishing, and paddling in a natural setting minutes from Dartmouth College and the vibrant commercial and cultural character of the Lebanon-Hanover corridor. For travelers who want genuine lake access, a sandy beach, and the intellectual energy of a college town within reach of the campground—all in the context of New Hampshire's spectacular summer landscape—Mascoma Lake provides an unusual convergence of natural and cultural amenities. RV sites include 30 and 50-amp electric service with water and sewer hookups, and every site has a fire ring and picnic table for the campfire experience that defines quality summer camping. A jumping pillow, gaga ball court, basketball court, and horseshoes extend the on-site recreation beyond the lake, and the campground's sports facilities provide activity options for days when the weather doesn't cooperate with swimming or paddling plans. Cabins, tiny homes, and the A-Frame house provide fully equipped alternative accommodations with air conditioning, full kitchens, bathrooms, and WiFi for guests who want the lake setting without tent or RV camping. Laundry facilities and clean shower and restroom infrastructure support the full range of staying styles the property offers. Mascoma Lake occupies a glacially carved basin in Grafton and Sullivan Counties along the Route 4 corridor between Lebanon and Enfield, where the lake's five-mile length and relatively undeveloped shoreline create a recreational experience that stands in contrast to the busy lakeside communities of the Lakes Region further east. The Northern Rail Trail, a multi-use recreational path converted from a former Boston and Maine Railroad corridor, runs along the lake's eastern shore and connects to an extended network through Grafton County—providing cycling and walking access to the surrounding Upper Valley landscape without requiring any additional drive. The lake's clear water supports excellent bass and perch fishing alongside the swimming and paddling activities. Lebanon and Hanover form the commercial and academic heart of the Upper Valley, the bi-state region spanning the Connecticut River on the Vermont-New Hampshire border. Dartmouth College in Hanover, just minutes from the campground, contributes the intellectual vitality, outstanding Hopkins Center for the Arts programming, and the Baker-Berry Library's Hood Museum of Art to a region that punches well above its population weight in cultural and educational resources. The Lebanon-Hanover commercial area provides excellent independent restaurants, the Lebanon Opera House, and the full range of services that support a quality extended-stay experience in this part of northern New England. Mascoma Lake Campground operates seasonally from late spring through early fall, with the lake swimming, boating, and paddling season at its prime from late June through August. The jumping pillow and gaga ball are particular draws for families with children between six and twelve who need additional activity beyond the beach. Fall foliage in the Upper Valley typically peaks in early to mid-October, when the sugar maples, birches, and aspens on the surrounding hillsides produce the color display that draws leaf-peepers from throughout the Northeast. Reserve your site, cabin, or A-Frame at Mascoma Lake Campground and let Lebanon's Upper Valley geography deliver one of New Hampshire's finest summer lake experiences.
