Big Rock Candy Mountain Retreat is your vacation destination! We’re just a mile and a half from the beautiful spring-fed Current River and the Ozark Scenic Riverways, home to the best fly fishing, floating, and family fun in the state! BRCM is 18 acres of beautiful forest teaming with wildlife, fantastic bird watching, nights filled with fireflies, and stories around the fire. You can spend your days filled with the many trail systems for horses, Side-by-Sides, hiking or biking, going kayaking, canoeing, or floating and fishing on the current river.

Registration and Arrival
Check-In Procedure
- Check-in is 4:00 pm.
- Checkout is 11:00 a.m.
- Unless arrangements are made with management in advance.
- Extra fees may apply.
- Check-ins after 10 pm must be pre-arranged with management in advance.
- Check-out is 11:00 a.m. unless other arrangements are made in advance with management.
- All dishes must be clean and in the drain tray.
- Keys must be returned to the key holder.
- Lost keys will incur a $50 charge.
- All guests and visitors must register at the office on arrival and prior to entering the site.
- All fees must be paid in advance.
- All guests in cabins must have a credit card on file.
- All guests will be issued wrist bands and parking tags, which allow them to access all amenities and must be worn at all times.
- Guests should park in the spots designated for their site, and there is a two-car limit.
- Arrangements must be made in advance for extra trailers, boats, etc, and fees may apply.
- While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement.
Rules And Regulations For All Guests
- The following rules and regulations are intended to provide an enjoyable experience for all our guests!
- We will be holding special events on some weekends.
- Please check the schedule to be sure that an event would not negatively affect your stay.
- There will be no refunds for not knowing an event would occur during your stay.
- All events are over at 12:00 a.m. unless otherwise posted.
- There will be a 3-night minimum for Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend.
- There will be a 2-night minimum for other holiday weekends and some events.
- All prices and policies are subject to change without notice.
Visitor Policy
- All visitors of guests must register and have a wristband and car tag for each guest day.
- Registered guests are responsible for any damage caused by their invited visitors as if they were a registered guest and must apprise them of all rules.
- Visitors must leave by 10 p.m. unless they have paid the $10 overnight fee.
- No refunds are made for inclement weather or early departure.
- Visitors must park in the main parking lot.
RV Sites
- There are four RV sites that are back-in and 30-amp electric.
- There are two sites that are pull-through and 50 amp electric.
- There are no water hookups, and you must not dump any wastewater or black water at your site.
- There is a shower house with private showers and bathrooms, and port-a-johns throughout the property.
- One tent is allowed in addition to your RV, and occupancy rates apply.
- There is a two-car maximum.
- All campers should turn down lights, heat, and air when gone for periods of time.
- Generators can be run from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Cabins
- Our cabins have been appointed to make you feel at home, and to meet and exceed all of your needs during your stay!
- We make a thorough inspection of all items in the cabin before and after every stay.
- We know that accidents happen, so please talk to a manager if something is broken or doesn't work when you arrive.
- Damage to the property and missing or broken items will be charged to your account.
- All dishes must be washed and left in the drain tray at checkout.
- All towels, etc., should be deposited in laundry hampers.
- We require the names of all individuals staying in our cabins.
- This list must be provided no later than two weeks prior to your arrival, thirty days for all music events.
- This is for security purposes only.
- If additional guests arrive and are not on your list, they will be denied access to the property.
- Your safety and experience are of utmost importance to us and your experience.
Primitive Camping
- We offer one primitive tent site that is approximately 20' x 20', and we offer group sites for up to 4 tents.
- There are two electrical sites.
- Electrical use is intended for designated sites only; cord sharing from site to site is not allowed.
- All areas must be left free of trash and debris.
- No glass, cans, metal, or aluminum may be put in fire rings and should be disposed of in the provided barrels.
- Glass bottles are prohibited. If excessive debris is left behind at the site, guests will be charged $50 for cleaning and disposal.
Swimming Pool and Playground
- All swimming is done at your own risk.
- There is no lifeguard on duty.
- No diving or roughhousing in or around the pool will be permitted.
- Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult while in the pool, on the playground, or in the shower house for their own safety.
- Absolutely no glass is permitted in or around the pool and deck.
- Visitors must have paid a day fee to use the pool and shower house and have the appropriate wrist tag.
- BRCM is not liable for any injuries incurred on or around the pool and playground area.
- Pets are not allowed in or around the pool and pool deck.
- The pool hours are 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Shower House and Laundry
- Laundry machines are coin-operated, and the shower house is free to registered guests and open 24 hours a day (unless closed for cleaning).
Pet Policy
- No pets are allowed in any of the cabins.
- Service dogs are accepted.
- There will be a mandatory $50 cleaning fee.
- Dogs must be people-friendly and dog-friendly and must be kept on a leash at all times.
- Dogs cannot be left in tents or tied up at sites when you leave for the day for activities.
- There will be a $50 fee if you do not clean up after your pet before departure.
- There is a two-dog maximum per campsite.
- If a dog is aggressive or incessantly barks, you will be asked to exit the park, and there will be no refunds.
- We want to preserve the quiet outdoor experience for all campers.
Trash and Recycling
- Please help keep our park clean by depositing trash into the appropriate trash and recycling bins provided on the premises.
Campfire and Firewood Policy
- No outside firewood of any kind!
- Firewood is sold on site to eliminate the threat of invasive and destructive insects, rodents, beetles, etc.
- Campfires must be in metal provided fire rings only.
- No tree cutting is allowed.
- No glass, cans, aluminum, or bottles in fire pits.
Prohibited Items and Activities
- No fireworks allowed at any time.
- Firearms are prohibited unless they are registered at check-in and are appropriate for hunting and during hunting season.
- Authorities will be called, and ejection from the campground will occur for anyone openly carrying a firearm outside of hunting season and properly registered with BRCM.
- No smoking in any building or cabin.
- If smoking occurs in the cabins, you will be charged a $200 deodorization and cleaning fee.
- Any vandalism or damage to the property will be prosecuted, and fines will be imposed, as well as ejection from the property.
- All state and federal drug and alcohol laws are strictly enforced.
- Drunk and disorderly conduct will be grounds for police removal from the property.
Parental Responsibility and Compliance Policy
- Parents are expected to know and inform their children of these rules and be responsible for their actions.
- Big Rock Candy Mountain Retreat (BRCM). reserves the right to eject anyone not complying with these rules and regulations.
Quiet Hours
Quiet hours are 11:00 pm to 8:00 am, including generators, with the exception of event nights.
Speed Limit
- Speed limit on the property is 5 mph.
- No ATVs can be driven around the property unless they are being used off the property.
Guest Liability and Service Policy
- BRCM is not responsible for accidents or injuries incurred by guests.
- BRCM is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- BRCM reserves the right to refuse service or reservations for any reason.
Cancellation Policy
Campground Cancellation Policy
- There will be no refunds for less than 3 days' notice of cancellation for primitive and RV reservations.
- If we receive notice 4 or more days from the date of your primitive or RV reservation, you will receive a full refund minus a $20 processing fee.
- There will be no refunds for less than 7 days' notice of cancellation for Cabin reservations.
- If we receive notice between 8-14 days or more from the date of your Cabin reservation, you will receive a refund equal to one-half of the total reservation minus a $10 processing fee.
- If we receive notice over 15 days or more from the reservation, you will receive a full refund minus a $20 processing fee.
- All Spot2Nite reservations require payment in full at the time of booking.

- Spot2Nite convenience fees and credit card processing fees are non-refundable.
