Broken Arrow Campground
Eminence, Missouri
36 RV Sites
Broken Arrow Campground sits in the heart of Missouri's Ozark National Scenic Riverway in Eminence — one of the most naturally spectacular regions in the American Midwest, where crystalline spring-fed rivers wind through limestone bluffs and hardwood forest in a landscape that has changed little in the last century. With the Jacks Fork River running along the property's edge and some of the Ozarks' most remarkable natural features within easy reach, Broken Arrow is the kind of campground that people plan trips around.
Accommodations range from tipis with cozy beds and kitchenettes to log cabins with full kitchens and smart TVs, alongside pull-through RV sites and tent sites for every style of camper. A large private beach fronts the Jacks Fork River, providing direct access to swimming holes, fishing spots, and put-in points for the canoe and kayak floats that define Ozark recreation. Pets are welcome throughout the campground, and the riverside setting means the sounds of moving water are a constant, soothing presence from every site.
The Ozark National Scenic Riverway surrounding Eminence contains some of the most remarkable spring systems in the world. Big Spring, just a few miles away, is one of the largest single-outlet springs on Earth, releasing millions of gallons of crystal-clear water daily. Alley Spring features one of Missouri's most photographed historic grist mills beside a brilliant blue spring pool, while Rocky Falls tumbles through sculpted red rhyolite rock in a waterfall setting unlike anything else in the region.
The area is laced with cave systems — over 300 documented caves within driving range — making it a destination for spelunkers and casual cave visitors alike. The Current and Jacks Fork Rivers offer gentle, meandering floats through the national scenic riverway, with multiple outfitters in Eminence renting canoes, kayaks, and tubes for everything from a two-hour float to a multi-day river trip. Blue Spring and Welch Spring are two more crystalline natural highlights reachable by water or trail.
Broken Arrow Campground is most popular from late spring through early fall, when the Jacks Fork runs at its most enjoyable for swimming and floating. Summer weekends fill quickly, as Eminence is a destination unto itself for Missourians and river enthusiasts from across the Midwest. Reserve early for Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day weekends, and consider a mid-week stay in June or September for the quietest and most atmospheric version of an already unforgettable Missouri Ozarks experience.
