Sun Outdoors Ocean City Gateway in Whaleyville, Maryland, offers 101 RV sites, 45 cabin and cottage units, and 12 tent sites 15 miles west of the Ocean City beachfront, with 20, 30, and 50-amp full hookups, cable TV, and rigs accepted to 60 feet behind a gated entrance. Preferred, premium, and standard categories join a lazy river, water park, splash pad, and mini-golf.
One hundred one sites span standard back-in, preferred back-in, premium back-in, and premium pull-thru categories, all carrying water, sewer, and electric with cable TV and site WiFi, sized to 60 feet, with fire pits, picnic tables, and BBQ pits. Forty-five cabins and cottages and 12 tent sites round out the lodging. A general store, laundry, propane fills and exchange, restrooms, showers, firewood, and RV storage handle the practical side. The property was formerly Fort Whaley RV Resort & Campground.
A lazy river, water park, splash pad, and outdoor pool anchor the summer — an unusually complete water program. Mini-golf, an arcade, game room, clubhouse, sports courts, pickleball, basketball, volleyball, golf cart rentals, a playground, pavilion, and dog park fill the grounds, with a lake and pond for catch-and-release fishing, walking trails, hiking, and biking besides. A state park is nearby.
Shady hardwoods give the resort its character, and Ocean City's barrier island is a short drive.

Cancellation Policy
- For all guests with stays shorter than 30 nights ("short-term guests") (i) cancellations may be made for a full refund of your deposit up to the date that is 14 days prior to your scheduled check-in date minus a $20 fee, (ii) cancellations made after the date that is 14 days prior to your scheduled check-in date, but prior to arrival, will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to all required deposits previously paid, (iii) no refunds will be given for any cancellation following your check-in date.
- All refunds will be made in the same form of payment used to secure the reservation.
- The booking fee is fully refundable if you cancel your reservation within 24 hours of booking.
- After 24 hours, the booking fee is refundable only if your reservation is also fully refundable at the time of cancellation.
Refund Policy
- Refunds are prohibited for weather condition, voluntary departure, acts of nature, or evictions.
- Any refund processed will be refunded in the same form that it was originally paid or a reservation credit can be issued towards a future stay to be used within one year from the date the reservation credit was issued.
- All refunds processed via credit/debit card, will be processed back to the original credit/debit card used, no exceptions.
- All Spot2Nite reservations require payment in full at the time of booking.
