Blueway RV Park
Fort Myers, Florida
95 RV Sites
Blueway RV Park spreads across more than 30 acres along South Tamiami Trail in Fort Myers, Florida, offering 375 full hookup sites on one of the largest RV resort footprints in Lee County. The park draws a loyal seasonal following to Southwest Florida's warm winters, with a social amenities package designed to keep guests active and connected through extended stays in one of Florida's most desirable coastal corridors.
Two heated pools and a hot tub anchor the recreation area, shaded by tiki huts with updated patio furniture that turns the pool deck into a natural gathering space through the winter months. Pickleball courts have become the resort's fastest-growing activity hub, supplemented by shuffleboard, miniature golf, cornhole, a putting green, and a walking path for those who prefer a more relaxed pace. The dog park features both an obstacle course and a dedicated pet washing station, making Blueway RV Park a genuinely pet-friendly option in a region where dog accommodations can be inconsistent. On-site laundry handles the practical side of a long-term winter stay, and a robust planned activities and events calendar runs throughout the season.
Fort Myers sits at the heart of Southwest Florida's Lee Island Coast, a region defined by the Caloosahatchee River to the north, the Ten Thousand Islands estuary to the south, and a string of barrier islands to the west that shelter the Gulf of Mexico from the mainland. Blueway's South Tamiami Trail location puts it within easy reach of this geography while remaining in a developed, full-service corridor where dining, shopping, and medical facilities are never far. The park's 30-acre footprint provides enough room that sites feel spacious relative to more densely packed Florida winter parks closer to the coast.
Sanibel and Captiva Islands are the defining day-trip destination from Fort Myers—barrier islands connected to the mainland by a causeway and famous for shelling, the J.N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge, and the unhurried character that comes from an island with no stoplights. Fort Myers Beach, revitalizing after Hurricane Ian, offers waterfront dining and direct Gulf access. The Edison and Ford Winter Estates in downtown Fort Myers preserves the riverfront botanical laboratory and historic winter homes of two of America's most consequential inventors. ECHO Global Farm provides educational tours of a 50-acre tropical plant demonstration campus, and Lovers Key State Park offers kayaking, shelling, and beach access in a quieter natural setting south of the city.
Blueway RV Park operates on the Southwest Florida snowbird calendar, with peak season running from November through April when Lee County receives the bulk of its annual visitors. Sites are competitive through the peak months, so early reservations—sometimes made the prior spring—are essential for securing preferred accommodations at this popular resort. The combination of Fort Myers' warm winters, accessible island day trips, and Blueway's comprehensive on-site amenities makes this a particularly well-positioned winter destination for RVers who want comfort, community, and proximity to world-class natural beaches without the premium pricing of the island parks directly on the Gulf.
