Overnight, Seasonal, and Extended Stay Camping, we are open year-round. Many of our sites are great for stargazing, watching meteors, looking for fireflies, and seeing the birds zip on by.
We have 20/30/50amp (shade and partial shade) around our lake, and in the "upper campground," and dry camping (full facilities) along the Arkansas River (Gold Medal fishing) with access for all campers for fishing and floating.
We are conveniently located on Hwy 50, in Bighorn Sheep Canyon, and have all sorts of rental options for your outdoor adventure needs. Whether you want to pitch a tent, try out the glamping experience, enjoy the convenience of an RV, or rent one of our fully equipped RVs, we have the perfect spot for you.

Registration and Arrival
Check-In Procedure
- Check-In: 2:00 PM or later.
- Check-Out: 12:00 PM (noon).
- Earlier or later check-in or checkout may be available upon request for an additional fee.
- While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement.
Fire Pits and Cooking
- Open fires are strictly prohibited due to ongoing wildfire risk in Colorado.
- Guests must use the provided gas fire pits.
- Propane tanks are available to rent, or guests may bring their own.
- Do not screw, nail, or attach anything to trees that may cause damage.
River Access
- Access the Arkansas River using the road behind the post office to the boat ramp.
- Enter the river at your own risk because rocks may be slippery and whitewater conditions may occur.
- Colorado law requires children under age 13 to wear a personal flotation device while in the river.
Fishing
- Fishing is permitted only on the south side of the river from the boat-ramp fence to the bridges.
- Fishing is catch and release only.
- Lures, treble hooks, and live bait are not allowed.
- A valid Colorado fishing license is required.
Pet Policy
- Pets must remain on a leash at all times under campground rules and Fremont County law.
- Please clean up after pets.
Trash Policy
- Place trash in the dumpster near the bathhouse off Highway 50.
- Pick up all bottles, caps, paper, pet waste, and other trash.
- Follow Leave No Trace principles to protect the river.
Wildlife and Nature
- Watch for deer, bighorn sheep, bears, bobcats, and other local wildlife.
- Mosquitoes are common, so guests should bring insect repellent.

- Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled date of occupation are free of charge.
Spot2Nite Cancellation Policy
- All Spot2Nite reservations require payment in full at the time of booking.
