We offer RV, cabins, and tent sites nestled between colorful aspens with beautiful mountain views. We are surrounded by amenities including; fishing, hiking, and biking trails at Golden Gate Canyon State Park, Casinos at Black Hawk and Central City, indoor, year-round swimming with a water slide at The Gilpin County Community Center, and we are just off the Peak to Peak Scenic Byway for breathtaking Colorado views. Rules

Registration and Arrival Check-In Procedure - Check-in is at 2 PM MST - And allows access to your site until 11 AM the day of check-out. - Early check-in is not permitted, so please plan accordingly. - Check-out time is 11 AM. - Up to a two-hour late check-out extension may be permitted only with prior approval for an additional $10.00 based upon site availability. - Failure to vacate your site by 1 p.m. may result in a tow and/or removal of personal items at the responsible party’s expense. - If arriving after 9:00 PM MST, please get in touch with the park for further instructions. - Check-out is automated and does not require office interaction. - If you are staying in our park for a month or longer, we require an agreement to be signed. - Please contact the park for more details. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Site Changes - You have been assigned a specific site. - If you wish to move sites, please check with the office. - Due to reservations and maintenance, moving may not be possible. Open Fires Policy - Open fires are not allowed in our park. - Fires must be in firepits or designated fire rings. Parking Policy - Please do not park your vehicle or trailer in an adjacent site. - Use of more than one site will result in additional charges, and/or towing at the owner's expense. - Each paid guest registration covers one vehicle per site. - If the site allows, one additional vehicle may be added for $5.00 per vehicle, per night. - No parking is allowed in common areas. - Do not park in the middle of the road, and do not block garages, bathrooms, and laundry room doors. - Parking on the grass is not permitted at RV Sites or in tent areas. Vehicle Policies - The park speed limit is 5 mph. - This policy keeps you, your children, and your pets safe. - Exceeding the speed limit will result in a warning, and multiple infractions will require us to ask you to leave. - Safety is the number one priority for our guests. Site and Park Navigation - Please be respectful of your neighbors and do not walk between sites when navigating the park. - Please use main roads, sidewalks, and designated public paths to walk around the campground. Washing Policy - Washing RVs or vehicles is not permitted. - There is a car wash down the street. Pet Policies - Pets must be leashed at all times. - No exceptions. - Pets are not allowed in buildings or on the playground. - Please do not tie pets to trees, doors, or posts. - Be a good neighbor, and please use the dog walk area and always clean up after your pet. - Do not let your pet deposit waste on your site or any of our other guests’ sites. - Failure to clean up after your pet will result in a $50 cleaning charge. - Pets may not be left unattended in our park. - Unattended pets may be reported to animal control. - Due to Insurance Requirements, all pets must be vaccinated in our park. - Please make sure your pet’s shots are up-to-date. - Excessive barking is not tolerated and disturbs your neighbors. - Please note that excessive barking may result in you being asked to leave without a refund. - There is a 2-pet limit per site. - No exotic or oversized pets are permitted, including reptiles or large birds. - Base Camp at Golden Gate Canyon is not responsible for and will hold accountable pet owner accountable for any injury or damage caused by the pet(s). - Service animals may accompany a disabled person without any proof of disability or certification for the service animal. ATV’s Dirt Bikes, Motorcycles, and Golf Carts - Off-Highway Vehicles (OHVs) may be used for campsite access, but no recreational use is permitted on the premises. General Park Policy - Severe Weather - In case of severe weather, seek shelter in the bathrooms or the laundry room. - Signs for shelter areas are posted. - We love pets, so please bring them with you and do not leave them unattended during severe weather warnings. Visitor Policy - All visitors must register with the office, pay a fee, and receive a parking pass that must be visible at all times. - Day visitors must depart by 10:00 pm MST, overnight visitors must depart by 11:00 am MST. - Registered guests are responsible for ensuring their visitors are properly registered and that all campground rules are followed. - Visitors may not bring pets. We reserve the right to limit the number of people visiting a site. Electrical Use - You are responsible for understanding your equipment's limitations. - Amp usage exceeding 50 AMPs provided can trip your breaker. - Base Camp is not responsible for electrical damage. - If you have any electrical issues during your stay, please notify the office. - Guests are not permitted to diagnose our electrical pedestals per insurance and safety requirements. - Maintenance is happy to help. Laundry Policy - The laundry room is open 7 am-8 pm winter hours, and 7 am-9 pm summer hours. - Change is available in the office. - Please do not leave your laundry unattended. We are not responsible for accidents or theft. Restrooms Policy - For the comfort of all our guests, restrooms are open 24/7 with the exception of a temporary closing for cleaning. - Please help keep the restrooms clean. - Guests under the age of 18 require adult supervision in the bathrooms and showers. Playground Rules - Anyone under 18 must always be supervised in all areas of the campground. - Loud music, glass, alcohol, and rough play are not permitted. - Failure to follow these rules will result in you being asked to leave without a refund. Quiet Time Policies - Quiet time is 10 PM to 7 AM. - Anyone playing loud music will be warned only once and then asked to leave without a refund. Trash Disposal and Recycling - Trash cans are located throughout the park. - Please tie trash bags completely closed and put them completely in the trash container. - If the first can is full, please find another container. - Please do not place trash on the ground or leave food out at your campsite, as this attracts animals. - Do not dispose of wires, oil, cooking oil, furniture, mattresses, or any toxic waste or chemicals in our trash cans or dumpsters. - Failure to adhere to this rule may result in charges for disposal fees. - Trash cans are emptied once per day. - Times may vary due to maintenance scheduling requirements throughout the day. Children Policy - Children under 18 must always be supervised by an adult. - Riding bicycles without a parent and on our main entrance road is prohibited for the safety of your children and our incoming RV guests. - Anyone under the age of 18 must return to their site by dusk. - Children may not use the restrooms without being accompanied by a parent or guardian. Drones Policy - Drones are not permitted in our park. - There are several local area parks where drones are permitted for your enjoyment. Clotheslines Policy - Clotheslines are not permitted in our park. Fireworks and Firearms Policy - Fireworks and firearms are strictly prohibited in our park. - Fireworks include, but are not limited to, sparklers, smoke bombs, aerials, and firecrackers. - The prohibition of firearms includes all guns, including airsoft, BB, and pellet guns. - If these items are seen outside of your RV, you will be asked to leave immediately without a refund. Repairs Policy - Repairs to RVs and vehicles are not permitted in our park. Safety and Emergencies - Emergency Contact Information forms are required from all monthly guests. - This information is only used in the event of an emergency. - If you observe any activity you believe to be of concern, call our office 24 hours a day. - No soliciting is allowed. - If you need to call 911 for any reason, and time allows, please call the office so the maintenance staff can be prepared to escort the emergency personnel to your site. General Liability - Guests are responsible for any damage or injury caused by themselves, their children, and/or pets. - The park is not responsible for personal injuries or damage, loss, or theft of any personal property or vehicle. - We reserve the right to evict any person(s) who does not comply with the rules and policies. - Base Camp at Golden Gate Canyon does not allow the delivery of mail or packages to any guests. - Guests must make arrangements to have their mail or packages delivered to a third-party location for pickup. - All Motorhomes, RVs, or Travel Trailers must be in good working order and appearance, and no RVs older than 1995. - We reserve the right to refuse access to any guests whose vehicle is deemed to be unacceptable. - Tent camping is permitted only in designated tent sites or RV spaces with prior approval. - Tents are limited to a maximum of two per site and will incur an additional charge. Please contact our office for availability. - The total number of guests in any space cannot exceed the maximum capacity for that Site. Tent sites max 4 people, RV sites max 6 people, Cabins max 4 people. - Maximum of 12 people total at a site at any given time, including guests and visitors. - Visitors are welcome at guest sites between the hours of 9 am to 10 pm, but they must first register at the office. - Base Camp is in a natural wildlife habitat area. All guests should ensure that pets and small children are supervised at all times. Animal Waiver - I hereby agree to the following regulations and conditions relating to my dog while camping at Base Camp RE Operations, LLC d/b/a Base Camp at Golden Gate Canyon (“Campground”) with my dog. Excluded Areas - I agree to keep my dog out of the following areas, including, but not limited to, food and beverage areas, playground, and pavilions. Excluded Dogs - I agree that the Campground has the sole discretion to exclude dogs. - The basis for exclusion may include, but is not limited to, the following: breed-specific exclusions; due to aggressive, vicious, dangerous, or potentially dangerous; require muzzling; or are easily frightened or sensitive, resulting in disruptive behavior (such as fighting or biting) in response to a stimulus. - I agree to keep my dog on a leash or in a carrier while in all public areas of the Campground. - I further agree to have my dog with me or a designated individual at all times, and understand that I may not leave the dog unattended in the cabin or at the campsite. - I agree to prevent noise or any other disturbance by my dog, in the interest of other guests at the Campground. Vaccinations - I represent and warrant that my dog is up to date on all vaccinations (including rabies and distemper) and flea treatments. Disturbances - I agree that, should my dog create any disturbances, which cause complaints to be made to the management by other guests or employees of the Campground, at the request of a Campground employee. - I will immediately make arrangements to house my dog elsewhere outside the Campground. - Additionally, I understand and agree that if I do not find alternative housing for my pet after being asked to do so, I will be asked to leave the Campground and will not be issued a refund. Assumption of Risk and Release - I understand that my permission to have my dog at the Campground with me is a privilege and not a contractual right. - Such permission is expressly conditional upon my adherence to the terms of these rules and other rules in effect at any given time. - I understand that the Campground may revoke such permission at any time for any reason. - Additionally, I hereby assume all responsibility for risks, injury, damage, or other harm that may occur while my dog is at the Campground or caused by my dog. - Further, I hereby knowingly and voluntarily expressly release and discharge the Campground, its owner, its agents, its parent companies, members, managers, directors, officers and employees (“Released Parties”) from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, injuries, demands, or causes of action, both present and future, whether known, unknown, anticipated or unanticipated, that me or my guests or invitees may have against any of the Released Parties arising out of or incident to my dog’s presence in the Campground, whether arising from any act or omission, whether negligent or otherwise, of me, my dog and/or any guest or invitee. - I further agree to indemnify each of the Released Parties for any and all such claims, damages, liabilities, injuries, demands, or causes of action, including costs, expenses, and attorney’s fees arising as a result of or related to the presence of the dog at the Campground. - This provision shall be enforceable to the fullest extent of the law.

Cancellation Policy

Campground Cancellation Policy - Cancellations made 30 days in advance of the reservation start date will incur a $25 cancellation fee. - Cancellations made 14-29 days in advance of the reservation start date will receive a 50% refund. - Cancellations made 7-13 days in advance of the reservation start date will receive a 25% refund. - No refunds for cancellations made less than 7 days in advance of the reservation start date. - Any refunds will be credited to the card that it was charged to, unless campground credit towards a future stay would be preferred. - Manager approval is required for anything other than what is stated in the policy on cancellations. - Any adjustment to a reservation will be subject to pricing of the change based on duration of time, type of site, and seasonal availability. - All Spot2Nite reservations require payment in full at the time of booking. - Please contact Spot2Nite to cancel a reservation via email to [email protected] or call (877)778-2683, Option 1. - Spot2Nite convenience fees and credit card processing fees are non-refundable.
