Check-In Procedure - Check-in time RV and Campers: 1:00 p.m-8:00 p.m. - Check-out time RV and Campers: 12:00 p.m. - All Guests and Visitors are responsible for any damage to their vehicles. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Check-In - Check-in is required upon or within 30 minutes of your arrival at the park. - Check-in assistance for new guests or paperwork for registered guests can be found at the park office. - The address to the park is 27625 Schulte Rd, Carmel, CA 93923. - The check-in office is in the main parking area next to the RV sites. Late Check In - We do not offer late check-in; all guests must check in by 8:00 pm. - Due to our park's location and layout, noise travels easily during quiet hours. - Checking in late into the night will disturb other guests. - Locating your proper site at night will be difficult without assistance- credits will not be given due to difficulties or issues checking in after hours. - It is the responsibility of the guest to arrive at the campground during the designated check-in times. - It is the discretion of Saddle Mountain whether to allow or not allow exceptions to this policy. Late Check Out - Unless otherwise noted in writing from SMR Management, all guests who have not vacated their tent/RV site by 12 pm are subject to a $100 late check-out fee. - Charge will be automatically charged to the card on file. - Planned late checkouts may be available with approval for a nominal fee. - Last-minute late check-out requests are subject to management discretion, and standard fees may apply. Park Hours - Office Hours, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. - Quiet time is 9:00 pm to 7:00 am. - Please note: voices and vehicle noises can echo loudly in the park. - To ensure that all our guests have a great camping experience, our quiet time is strictly enforced. - Please be respectful to other guests. - Guests who continue to be loud after being asked to quiet down may be asked to leave the resort without a refund or not permitted to stay with us in the future. Park General Areas - No hanging laundry out, except wet towels. - Do not leave food out, and put trash in cans immediately. - Pick up the site before leaving and return the picnic table to its original location in the site. - Sites left with excessive trash and/or damage to the site itself are subject to an incidental fine charged to the card on file. - Please take large trash bags to the nearest trash dumpster. - Recycling Dumpster is for collapsed cardboard, plastic & glass bottles and cans. - Do not put coals from the BBQ or ashes from the fire pit in any dumpster. - Our staff will empty out coals and ashes between site rentals. Safety Procedures - Please do not feed the wildlife. - Don’t leave food waste in plastic trash bags at the site overnight. - Our Park’s Emergency Preparedness Plan is located on the left side of the office. - Copies upon request. - In case of emergency, call 911 and contact the camp host or manager immediately. - Be smart and enjoy your stay. - We reserve the right to ask guests to leave for any reason. Guests and Visitors - Registered guests must report any additional guests/visitors/vehicles to the office within 30 minutes of arrival. - Additional parking permit(s) are available for purchase at the office (subject to availability). - It is the responsibility of the guest to ensure all payments have been made. Large Gatherings & Events - All large parties, gatherings with guests not registered at the park, events, and private business operations not affiliated with Saddle Mountain are prohibited. - Any/all unregistered visitors or guests will be asked to leave, and non-registered vehicles will be required to be immediately removed from the property. - Violation of this policy will result in a minimum fine of $100. - Without prior written approval from SMR management, any on-site lodging (cabins, tent cabins, yurts) and sites (RV and tent) are prohibited from being used as the main gathering area for guests not listed on lodging or site reservations. - If your reservation is made with multiple lodging accommodations and/or sites, and you desire to use one as your gathering area, you must submit a formal email with a detailed request at least 2 weeks prior to check-in to allow ample time for management to review. - Notice: Pursuant to California Civil Code Section 799.20 et seq., a recreational vehicle may be removed from the premises without a judicial hearing after a 72-hour notice. - If the owner or occupants of said vehicle, who have been in park for 30 days or less, have either failed to pay his/her occupancy in the park or (2) failed to comply with the park's rules and regulations. - Traffic Law Enforcement Agency 659-2021. - We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and will not be responsible for accidents or injury to guests, for loss of money or valuables of any kind. Personal Items - We will not be liable or responsible for personal items left behind, lost, or stolen. - If you leave an item after checking out and wish to have it returned, reach out to us as soon as possible, and we will do our best to arrange for its return. - We will inform you of the shipping cost and, with your approval, deduct it from your credit card on file to cover the expense. Age - The minimum age is 18 for anyone renting this unit. - Proof of ID must be provided upon request. Respect - Please respect other guests on site and contact Saddle Mountain Management with any questions or concerns. Site Selection - You may choose your site for a site selection fee of $25. - The site selection fee is non-refundable. - Circumstances beyond our control may arise in which we are not able to honor your site selection. - In this case, we would refund the site selection fee. Parking - Registered vehicles are permitted to park in designated areas only. - Please do not park in RV sites. - The daily rate for that site will be applied automatically to the card on file if an unauthorized vehicle is parked in an RV site. - Each cabin, RV, and tent site reservation includes one parking spot. - If you require parking for additional vehicles, permits are available at the office for $30 per night. - Saddle Mountain parking passes must be displayed in your vehicle at all times during your stay. Fire - Charcoal and wax logs (Duraflame) are authorized for use as fuel for the fire pits and BBQs at Saddle Mountain. - Additionally, propane gas cooktops are permitted. - Wood Fires are not allowed anywhere at Saddle Mountain. - A minimum of $150 will be assessed if evidence of burning wood is found at your site. Quiet Hours - 9:00 pm - 7:00 am. - If you are checking in late or leaving early, please be considerate of your fellow campers. Public Areas - Public areas such as the restrooms, showers, gazebos, outdoor games, pool deck tables, and sun chairs are open to all guests on a first-come, first-served basis. - Saddle Mountain is a family park. - Use caution in all areas, as many kids are present. Swimming Pool - Our pool is open from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. Memorial Day - September - Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times while at the pool and in the pool deck area. - The pool is heated from May through October and is exclusive to guests staying at Saddle Mountain. - Infants and toddlers are required to wear swimming diapers if they are going to be in the water. - A baby changing table is available in the pool bathrooms. - Please shower before getting into the pool. - Pets and glass of any kind are not permitted in the pool area. Children's Playground - Our playground is open all year from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. - Children must always be accompanied by an adult while at the playground. - Pets and glass of any kind are not permitted in the playground area. Conserve Water - California experiences drought conditions year-round. - We ask that you conserve water when showering or using the sink. - Thank you. Trash - Please place all loose trash and recyclables in the appropriate containers located in the designated trash bins around the park. Pet Policy - RV, Walk-in, Drive-in, and Partial Hookup: Pet fee of $5 per night, dogs and cats under 75 lbs.. Pet Rules - Pets must be fully trained, kept on a leash at all times, and must not be left unattended. - They are not allowed in the pool area or children’s playground. - Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and must ensure their pets do not cause disturbances, such as excessive barking, that may inconvenience other guests. - In cabins and luxury tents, pets are not allowed on furniture or beds, and additional charges may apply for excessive damage or cleaning. - Guests are responsible for any property damage or personal injuries resulting from their pet’s behavior. Dog Policy - At RVPM and Honest RV Parks, we love dogs, and we strive to create a welcoming environment for all guests who want to share their camping experience with their furry companions. - To ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for everyone, we kindly ask you to follow our dog policy. - Aggressive dogs of any breed are not permitted. - If your dog displays protective or unfriendly behavior towards strangers, we kindly ask that you do not bring them to our parks and resorts. - If such behavior is observed, we may (at our sole discretion) ask the owner and the dog to leave. - Pet restrictions may vary among our locations. - Some parks have limited or no availability for units or cabins that allow pets. - We encourage dog owners to call in advance to check availability and discuss their situation. - Registered service dogs are welcome at all RVPM/Honest RV properties and are subject to the same rules and restrictions listed here. - We welcome a maximum of two dogs per site. - All dogs must have documentation of current vaccinations. - We may ask you to provide copies of vaccination records to our office before you check in. - All dogs must be under their owners' control and visual supervision at all times. - Please do not leave dogs unattended or tied up outside. - Except in designated off-leash dog park amenity areas, all dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet anytime they are outside. - Non-service dogs are not allowed in common-area buildings or pool areas. - Registered service dogs must be wearing visible tags to enter these areas. - Disruptive, excessive, or uncontrolled barking is not allowed. - If barking persists and becomes a nuisance to fellow guests, we may (at our sole discretion) ask the owner and the dog to leave. - Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and properly disposing of pet waste in designated bins. - Pet owners are responsible for any injuries, damage, or disturbances caused by their pets to other guests, park staff, or visitors. - RVPM is not responsible for the safety of your dog(s), or for any loss, damage, or injury caused to or by our four-legged guests. - Thank you for your cooperation in maintaining a dog-friendly and harmonious environment for all guests at our RV parks. WIFI - WiFi is complimentary at Saddle Mountain. - It is strongest by the office deck, and no password is required. Hiking - Saddle Mountain offers over 4 miles of hiking trails exclusive to Saddle Mountain guests. - The trail features stunning vistas with oak trees, towering Monterey pines, and redwoods. - The highlight of the hike is the 2-mile mark, where hikers can enjoy 360-degree views of the mountains of Big Sur, Carmel Valley, and the Pacific Ocean. - For a full list of hikes in the area, visit www.alltrails.com
