For travelers who make the drive, the quality of the accommodations here is the difference between a rough expedition and a genuinely comfortable base in extraordinary country. The Alaska season is short and concentrated. Summer is the only practical window for the McCarthy Road — reserve as far ahead as possible.

Registration and Arrival Check-In Procedure - Check in time is 2:30 pm to 7 pm. - Check out time is 10:30 am. - If your arrival time is past 7 pm there will be an additional $50.00 late check in fee unless previous arrangements are made with us. - We understand that emergencies occur or that there are road delays that might delay a party’s arrival and we ask that you try to inform us of any changes to your arrival time. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Initial Deposit - At the time of booking, 100% of the reservation balance will be collected. - Payment for all retail items and gift certificates will also be collected. - There are no additional fees or taxes. Children Policy - Children are welcome with an accompanying adult. - Children age 11 and under stay free. Pet Policy - We will accept pets inside the guest houses for a fee of $25.00 per night. - Pets are not allowed to be in the guest houses unattended during the day or night and cannot be outside of the house without their owner, except if they are kenneled or in a personal vehicle during the day or night. - Pets must be on leash when outside the guest house. - Owners need to clean up after their pets while on the property. - Owners are responsible for the full cost of replacement for damages to the structure, furniture or floors caused by their pets in excess of normal wear and tear. - Please note that McCarthy is a dog town! - There will be many dogs off leash in town. - If you go take your dog to Kennicott, please note that the NPS requires that your dog is on-leash while in town. Credit Card Security - Your credit card information is stored and processed securely. Rates - 1-2 persons $345.00, $25 per additional person 12 years old and older. - Children 11 and younger are free. Dishes - Dishes are expected to be cleaned and returned to the cupboards prior to departure. - We would be glad to wash and return dishes for you if you can’t do it yourself for a $50.00 fee.

Cancellation Policy

Campground Cancellation Policy - Refunds will be issued (minus a $50 cancellation fee) up to 30 days prior to arrival. - Refunds will be issued (minus a $50 cancellation fee) if the cancellation is received less than 30 days prior to the reservation date and we can rent the property for the cancelled nights. - If we are unable to rent the property, no refund will be issued. - All Spot2Nite reservations require payment in full at the time of booking. - Please contact Spot2Nite to cancel a reservation via email to [email protected] or call (877)778-2683, Option 1. - Spot2Nite convenience fees and credit card processing fees are non-refundable.
