Snake River Cabin and RV Village

Jackson, Wyoming

17 RV Sites, 53 Cabins

On the banks of the Snake River twelve miles south of downtown Jackson, Wyoming, Snake River Cabins and RV Village delivers a genuine mountain base camp for one of America's greatest outdoor destinations. Set where the Snake River curves through the sagebrush flats of southern Jackson Hole, the property combines RV sites, tent camping, and nine different cabin configurations in a setting that puts Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park, and Jackson's legendary skiing and outdoor recreation within a 30-minute drive in any direction. Free bikes available for borrowing, rafting and ecotour operations, and a gift shop serving the outdoor community round out a property designed for people who come to this corner of Wyoming to be outside. Full hookup water, sewer, and electric sites accommodate trailers, motorhomes, and RVs up to 30 feet, with three separate bathhouses with individual bathrooms and showers ensuring clean facilities even during peak summer season. Free WiFi, on-site laundry, and a pet-friendly policy across the property make the extended-stay experience comfortable for travelers planting themselves in Jackson Hole for a week or season. The property's grocery and convenience store eliminates the need to drive into Jackson for daily supplies, and the natural, sagebrush-and-cottonwood setting along the Snake River provides a peaceful counterpoint to the bustle of peak-season Jackson Town Square. The Snake River at this location runs in broad, braided channels through the cottonwood gallery forest and sagebrush flats of southern Jackson Hole, creating a wildlife corridor that produces exceptional early-morning and evening viewing of moose, elk, bald eagles, osprey, and the sandhill cranes that nest in the surrounding wetlands. The valley's open sagebrush terrain allows long sight lines that make wildlife spotting from the property itself a realistic daily activity—particularly in fall when the elk rut moves animals through the bottomlands in impressive numbers. Grand Teton National Park, with its extraordinary range of world-class hiking, paddling, and climbing on one of North America's most iconic mountain ranges, is approximately 17 miles north of the property. The park's Jenny Lake, Jackson Lake, and the String Lake loop offer day hiking and paddling experiences that satisfy every ability level. Yellowstone's South Entrance lies just beyond the Tetons. Jackson's downtown—five-star restaurants, Western galleries, and the famous Town Square with its elk antler arches—is 12 miles north, and the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort at Teton Village provides world-class skiing and mountain biking within reach. Summer season at Snake River Cabins and RV Village runs June through September at full capacity, with July and August requiring advance reservations well ahead of arrival. Fall brings dramatic elk rut activity throughout Jackson Hole, cooler temperatures, and smaller crowds that make September and October among the most rewarding months. Winter in Jackson Hole centers on the ski resort, and the property's proximity to Teton Village makes it a practical base for ski trips. Book your site or cabin at Snake River Cabins and RV Village and experience the full magnitude of what Jackson Hole has to offer.
