Venture RV Park Richfield

Richfield, Utah

5 RV Sites

Venture RV Park in Richfield, Utah, provides a convenient and well-maintained full hookup RV park in Sevier County's central Utah geography, positioning guests at the hub of one of the American West's most dramatically diverse scenic touring corridors where Bryce Canyon National Park, Capitol Reef National Park, and Fishlake National Forest converge within a two-hour drive in every direction from this strategic Sevier Valley community. Richfield's position on I-70 and US-89 at the intersection of the two primary southern Utah travel routes makes it an ideal overnight and multi-day stop for travelers exploring the Colorado Plateau's extraordinary concentration of national parks, scenic byways, and wilderness landscapes. The park provides dog park, laundry, showers, bathrooms, pavilion, lake, community fire pit, sports courts for basketball and pickleball, corn hole, Wi-Fi, and the offroading access nearby that connects guests to the Fishlake National Forest and the surrounding Sevier County terrain's extensive network of backcountry roads and OHV trails. The lake provides on-property fishing and scenic recreation, and the community fire pit serves the evening gathering culture that extended western touring creates when travelers compare route notes under Utah's exceptional star-filled skies. Pet-friendly policies accommodate the hiking dogs that western national park touring regularly involves. Richfield, the Sevier County seat, occupies a valley carved by the Sevier River through the Wasatch Plateau's volcanic and sedimentary geology in a high-desert agricultural landscape at approximately 5,300 feet elevation, where the surrounding terrain's bold colors of red, white, and buff sandstone and volcanic dark basalt create the western plateau character that defines central Utah's visual identity. The Sevier Valley's irrigation agriculture—alfalfa, grain, and cattle ranching—provides the economic foundation of a community whose setting in one of Utah's most scenically endowed counties creates outdoor recreation opportunities of national significance within hours of the park. Fishlake National Forest, beginning approximately 15 miles east of Richfield via UT-119, encompasses 1.4 million acres of central Utah's Wasatch Plateau and includes Fish Lake—one of Utah's premier fishing lakes for lake trout and yellow perch at 8,800 feet elevation in a mountain lake setting of remarkable beauty. Capitol Reef National Park, approximately 75 miles east via UT-24 through Torrey, preserves the Waterpocket Fold—a 100-mile-long geological monocline of tilted and eroded sandstone layers in one of the most visually dramatic reef landscapes in the American West. Bryce Canyon National Park's hoodoo amphitheaters are accessible approximately 80 miles south via US-89. Venture RV Park operates year-round in Richfield's central Utah climate, where the 5,300-foot elevation delivers four distinct seasons—summer's warm days and cool nights ideal for national park hiking, fall's brilliant aspen color in the surrounding Fishlake National Forest, winter's cross-country skiing at Fish Lake, and spring's red rock wildflower season at Capitol Reef—creating compelling reasons to visit in every season. The park's strategic I-70 positioning makes it a natural overnight stop for travelers on the western highway corridor between Denver and Las Vegas, and the extraordinary national park density within day-trip range of Richfield creates multi-day stays for guests who want to maximize their southern Utah national park itinerary from a central geographic base.
