Registration and Arrival Check-In Procedure - Check in: 2:00 PM. - Check out: 12:00 PM. - Registration: You must register at the Lodge office prior to accessing your site. - The person listed as "Primary" on the reservation must be present to check in with a photo ID. - We will not allow someone else to check in on your behalf. - This is for your security and our liability. - Please have your ID, credit card, and vehicle/license plate information for all vehicles and trailers handy, as we will need all of it to complete your registration paperwork. - There is no formal check-out process or need to notify the office of checkout. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. General Info - All sites are approximately 75 feet x 35 feet and can fit a wide range of RV vehicles. - If you are unsure where your RV would be. - Each campsite has a maximum occupancy of no more than 6 adults or children on any site. - Extra charges ($10 per person) will be added for additional guests of any age. - Why? Extra people require extra water, extra sewage, extra usage of amenities, and so forth. - We do periodic site checks, and fees will be assessed with or without notice. - No more than one tent and one camping/RV unit are allowed on sites per state regulations, or no more than two tents if no RV units. - Each campsite is allowed no more than 2 passenger vehicles or utility trailers in addition to one RV camping unit. - All vehicles and trailers will be required to be registered with the office. - No transfers, subletting, no Airbnb or similar services allowed. Deposits - We follow the same deposit policy for our lodging and campsites. - A non-refundable $50 deposit (one night stay) is required at the time of booking to hold your dates & site. - The remaining fees will be automatically collected according to our cancellation policy (50% of the remaining amount at 14 days in advance, and the remainder 7 days in advance). Arrivals - No arrivals after dark. - This is a huge disturbance to everyone on the property, and is simply not the experience we wish to provide our guests. - The vast majority of our guests come from the greater Chicago area, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, or beyond. - Everyone has a long drive to get here, and you are not an exception. - Take the extra vacation day, and please plan your arrival time to be within a reasonable time, or plan to check in the next day. Late Departures - Failure to vacate the campground by check out time, 12:00 PM, will result in a $30 late check out fee plus $30 every 30 minutes thereafter. - Charges will be assessed with or without notice. Pet Policy - We are a pet-friendly property. - A maximum of two domestic pets are allowed per campsite and they must be registered on the reservation. - No specific size or breed restrictions, but your dog must be 100% friendly/non-aggressive toward other dogs/animals, children, and adults. - If your dog cannot handle the sight, sounds, or smells of another dog or human, please do not bring them. - There is a licensed kennel within 5 minutes of our property (Joyspring Kennels) that offers doggy daycare and overnight stays for pets that need accommodations. - Pets must be reasonably quiet, restrained, and always supervised, especially when outside. - Please use good judgment when leaving a pet in your camper while you are away. - Our nature trails are a great option for walking your dog. - Please clean up after your pet. - Stargazers UP Campground/North Ironwood Acres is not responsible in any way for situations that may arise with your pet or by your pet, and will hold the pet owner for any injury or damage caused by a pet. General Liability and Conduct Statement - Campers/visitors are responsible for reading and understanding the rules for Stargazers U.P. Campground and the rest of the resort at North Ironwood Acres. Trip Protection Program - All new online bookings will have trip protection by worry-free booking automatically selected. - You must deselect this in the cart if you do not wish to utilize it. - This is an optional protection program that will protect you in case of last-minute cancellations. - You can review all terms and conditions and qualifying reasons for cancellation prior to submitting your reservation by clicking the information link provided on our booking engine. - Ask us about it first if you prefer. - We simply would not recommend it or continue our partnership if it were not a quality option for our guests. Campground Disclaimer - Terms and conditions are subject to change at any time, for any reason, but the most recent policies will always be publicly available on our website and at the office. - Guests are responsible for the actions and safety of every member of their group, holding Stargazers U.P. MODERATE If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
